Shvartsman Leonid Aronovich was born in the family of a Russian accountant and a Jewish beauty-housewife, in the Belarusian city of Minsk. In the spring of 1941 he graduated from the Art School at the Institute of Painting, was drafted into the army. The war was spent working in the rear of the factory for the manufacture of tanks, and after the victory went to Leningrad. He graduated from VGIK, and the catalyst for choosing the course was the cartoon "Bambi" by Walt Disney. Leonid Aronovich got a job in the most famous studio in the country for shooting cartoons.

At the studio "Soyuzmultfilm" the master has worked for 54 years, during this time, from the animator's hands over 50 animated films of different plan appeared: drawn and with the participation of dolls. At first he was a simple assistant to the artist, drawing background details in cartoons, after graduating from the institute he became an artist-director, and beginning in 1975 he was already the main director.

Story line

The story of "Monkeys, forward!" Is based on the story of five reckless kids and their single mom (Papa does not meet in any series), who tried her best to keep the kids from pranks. In the process of the film, you can see that a lot of troubles and cares about the house take away all the strength from the monkey mom and she often falls asleep from fatigue in different places, which is good for her pranksters.

• When creating the fifth series there was a lot of alterations due to the excessive demands of Leonid Shvartsman. At that time, the artist turned 73 years old (he began to tremble his hands and the lines went out too uneven, sometimes he had to hold a pencil with both hands) and he could not fully draw all the characters himself - he had to do this to others, but the author very scrupulously noted inaccuracies And returned it for revision.

Actually, Leonid Shvartsman is left-handed, but in the third grade the teacher made him write right. But the gift of the artist is still stronger - draws the animation genius anyway with his left hand.

It has been more than thirty years since the creation of the first series of monkeys, and their adventures are still as pleasing to children and adults. This is the genius of the master. His characters are relevant, modern and understandable to any generation in love with the animated cinema.
