It is believed that cauliflower came to Europe from the island of Crete. It was eaten by the ancient Romans. In Europe, cauliflower spread only in the 16th century. At first the seeds had to be transported from the East, since the cabbage did not want to give seeds in the local climate and therefore was very expensive and fell on the table only to the richest people. Finally, in the XIX century, a French horticulturist managed to obtain the seeds of this plant and from that time cauliflower, as well as dishes from cauliflower, recipes for their preparation became available to all people.

This very useful vegetable contains many much needed for proper digestion of cellulose and various microelemets. Interestingly, when cooking and frying, cauliflower retains its useful properties perfectly. Moreover, during the cooking process, some biologically active substances are even activated. If cauliflower is eaten regularly, the risk of developing gastric ulcer and gastritis is significantly reduced, and cauliflower juice can destroy all pathogenic bacteria in the gastric mucosa.

Unfortunately, until now not all Russians know about the useful properties of this wonderful vegetable, and apparently therefore many dishes from cauliflower recipes for their preparation are still unknown to most housewives. Cauliflower can be prepared with mushrooms, with minced meat, you can make ragout, pancakes, cream soup, scrambled eggs and much more. Use only the white head of the plant for food, and the adjacent leaves are removed.

For some dishes, cauliflower should be boiled. The time of boiling cabbage depends on the dish. For example, for omelette, cauliflower is cooked for 10 minutes, for salads - 20 minutes, for soup-puree, cauliflower should be boiled in salted water for 30 minutes, and for the remaining dishes, cauliflower is not boiled at all.

We offer delicious and healthy dishes from cauliflower recipes for cooking them are not at all complicated and will not take much time. At first you can make soup-puree from cauliflower. For its preparation, the following ingredients will be needed: 2 heads of cauliflower, one carrot, one head of onions, melted cheese, 2 eggs, butter and greens.

In salted water for thirty to forty minutes, cabbage heads and carrots are boiled. Then the vegetables are ground in a blender or wiped through a sieve. Onion finely chopped and fried in a pan until golden brown, at the end of frying the onion cheese is added to the onions. This mixture is poured over the rubbed cabbage and carrots, salt to taste and bred with a ready-made meat broth. The soup is put on a slow fire and brought to a boil. When serving on a table in each plate add half of the boiled egg and sprinkle with finely chopped herbs.

Cabbage with mushrooms is a recipe for the second dish, it is prepared from the ingredients: several cabbage cabbage goose, 300 grams of mushrooms, one onion, one carrot, butter and greens. For this dish, cabbage is boiled for 15 minutes.

Then it should be disassembled on the inflorescence and mixed with fried mushrooms and finely chopped onions. All the ingredients are put in a roasting dish, poured into the remaining cabbage broth, add the grated carrots and put in a preheated oven for 30 minutes. Before the cabbage with mushrooms to serve on the table, it is sprinkled with finely chopped greens.

Cauliflower can be used as a filling for dumplings. Vareniki with cabbage recipe contains the following ingredients: 1 cup of kefir, one egg, salt and soda at the tip of the knife is taken for the dough. Flours need so much to get a cool dough. For the filling you need to cook 200 grams of cauliflower, 500 grams of minced meat, better than turkey, 1 glass of milk, one head of onions, salt and pepper to taste. To prepare the filling, the cabbage is first boiled in milk, and then, together with the rest of the ingredients, it is ground in a blender. If the filling is too dry, add a little milk, in which cabbage was cooked. Ready vareniki are served with melted butter or sour cream.
