What is a panic attack?

Unfortunately, many people know about this panic attack today. For the first time such an episode always happens unexpectedly, patients often say that "like a bolt from the blue". Experts consider stress to be the main reason for the appearance of seizures. And the first attack can come and when, it would seem, the person independently coped with it, and even months or years after the emotional shock.

How to deal with panic attacks

Panic attacks stop worrying when it comes to understanding that they do not threaten life, and when a person learns how to quickly cut them off on their own.

Of course, the first thing to do is to visit the therapist. There are ways of drug treatment of such a pathology. Modern antidepressants and tranquilizers have a minimum of side effects and are very effective. The doctor will also help to select the drugs that will stop the attack, if it comes.

A great help can be provided by a psychologist. Sometimes, having got to the real cause of crises, you can get rid of them forever. And modern psychological centers offer a variety of techniques that quickly eliminate the disorder. This includes behavioral therapy, hypnosis, group sessions, meditation, and relaxation training.

In addition, it is important to learn how to deal with seizures yourself. Learn the methods of relaxation, techniques that allow you to be distracted from sensations. Many people are helped by special breathing. For example, during a crisis, take a slow breath and a much longer exhalation, or breathe in a paper bag.

Panic attacks: treatment with folk remedies

Effective assistance is provided by long-term administration of medical charges. Pour a half cups of boiling water 2 teaspoons of dried dried herb oregano. The broth insists for about 10 minutes, filter and drink 150 ml before meals four times a day. Useful baths with this herb: 100 grams of raw materials are poured with boiling water (2 liters), insist for at least 2 hours. Take a bath every other day.

An infusion of marigold and blackberry leaves helps . The spoon of the dining room is filled with boiling water (3 items), insist an hour, take the same way as the broth of oregano. Decoction of bark of a guelder-rose (10 gr on 1.5 cups of boiling water) is taken in a spoon of a dining room three times a day. Effective and tincture of motherwort as a sedative, as well as cold infusion of sweet clover (2 tablespoons of fresh tea raw materials for half a liter of water, insist at least 4 hours).
