early years

Vladimir Rogovoy was born in Kiev. But even before the war, the family moved to Izhevsk. The parents of the future cinematographer were physicians. In the capital of Udmurtia, Horny was invited because of a shortage of doctors. Vladimir's childhood passed in a small, two-story house, the inhabitants of which were exclusively medical workers. His love for his native land was borne by Rogov through his whole life. When he became a famous director, he regularly organized premieres of paintings in Izhevsk.

In school years, Vladimir attended a drama circle, organized by one of his teachers. In productions, he, as a rule, played the leading roles. In addition, it was extremely musical. In high school Vladimir became the head of the first jazz ensemble in the school.

War

Vladimir Rogovoy - the director, who today is remembered, above all, thanks to the picture "Officers". He made several military films. Rogovoy knew about the events that these films reflected, not by hearsay. He was barely eighteen when the war began. The future director, like other young men living in the neighborhood, went to the front as a volunteer.

In 1943, Rogov experienced an event that he remembered until the last days of his life. In the dugout, three: the company commander, political instructor and Vladimir. They are twenty-five years old. The older comrades talk about the fact that they can not live to win. It's a pity ... Vladimir is optimistic. He believes that everyone will survive, and he dreams aloud about how after the victory they will go home, find themselves girls. Just a few minutes - a direct hit in the dugout. Of the three survived only a young soldier, the future director Vladimir Rogovoy.

After the war, he entered the VGIK. But not for the directing faculty, but for the economic. Vladimir Rogovoi is the producer of such films as Anna on the neck, Ryzhik, First Snow. True, earlier this post was called otherwise - the director of the picture.

"Good for non-combatants"

The film premiered in 1968. The main hero of the film "Good to battle" - rookie Volodya Danilin. He gets to the front and in the first days is appointed to the transport department. "Officers"

The shooting of the picture, which brought fame to this director, ended in 1971. Initially, the filmmakers planned to devote it to officer wives. But later the work went far beyond the set tasks. Two authors worked on the script. One of them is the writer and playwright Boris Vasilyev.

The war was not only directed by Vladimir Rogovoy. Photos of the heroes of the film "Officers" are presented in this article.
