Recipe 1: Root celery in hot sauce

You will need the following ingredients:

  • Root of fresh celery (1 pc.);
  • Mustard (2 teaspoons);
  • Lemon juice squeezed out (1 tbsp);
  • Vegetable (refined) oil (half a glass);
  • A little salt;
  • Pepper in peas or ground.

Preparation

We need to make a hot sauce. To do this, mix 100 grams of vegetable (refined) oil, 2 teaspoons of mustard. Pour oil slowly, gradually. Mix well and long until a uniform mass is obtained. At the end of cooking, you can add a spoon of squeezed lemon juice or a little vinegar and mix everything thoroughly. Add a touch of salt and a couple of peppercorns to taste. Hot, but tasty sauce is ready!

Take the root of the celery and cut it into thin slices, which you will dip into the sauce before eating.

Recipe 2: Stew from a celery root

You will need the following products:

  • Root fresh celery - 350 grams;
  • 1 small onion;
  • Wheat flour (the highest grade) - 2 teaspoons;
  • Tomato (you can make it yourself) - 1 st. a spoon;
  • Granulated sugar - 1 tsp;
  • Vegetable (refined) oil - 4 tbsp. Spoons;
  • parsley;
  • Celery greens;
  • A little bit of rock salt.

Preparation

Peel and cut into small pieces of celery root. Fry it in a pan, with a small amount of vegetable oil. Then pour a little vegetable oil into the pan, pour the finely chopped onion and fried celery root.

Mix in a plate 2 tsp flour, a small amount of water, a tablespoon of tomato, 1 teaspoon of sugar and salt. Pour it into a deep saucepan with chopped celery. Put the stew in the oven for 30 minutes. Finely chop the washed parsley, celery greens pre-cooked on the table, and sprinkle the dish on top. Serve the dish in a cold form!

Recipe 3: Root celery with sour cream

Ingredients:

  • Root fresh celery - 750 grams;
  • Sour cream (low-fat) - 100 grams.

For sauce:

  • Flour (highest grade) - 2 tbsp. Spoons;
  • Butter (not margarine) - 2 tbsp. Spoons;
  • 0,5 liters of table water;
  • Salt and a little pepper.

Preparation

It is good to wash and peel the celery from the skin. Slice it into small slices and simmer for 30 minutes in salted water, over a large fire. When the celery is ready, put it on a plate.

Prepare the white sauce! Put 2 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan and melt it over low heat. Dissolve the flour in cold water. Pour this water into a saucepan, and then cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly so that lumps do not form. Add the sour cream. A little salt and pepper.

Before serving, pour the celery topped with a prepared white sauce on top.

Cook 2 hard-boiled eggs and chop finely and finely. Sprinkle with eggs when serving.
