Devi Jones also liked the patroness of the sailors, so she gave him immortality. As a payment, the pirate had to send souls of people who had found their death in the sea to the next world.

Under the terms of the treaty, the former pirate could only step on the beach once in a decade. This day was the happiest for him, since he met with beloved Calypso. But when the goddess did not come to the meeting, Devi Jones decided to betray his chosen one. With his help, pirate barons captured Calypso, placing her soul in the body of an ordinary woman.

The curse has turned the captain, who forever seized the ship "Flying Dutchman", as well as his entire team into monsters. The appearance of the pirate became terrible.
