In puffs you can add raw apples, but it will be tastier if you cook them in a special way. To do this, add a few spoons of butter to the pan and heat it. Then pour into the oil sliced apples, a few spoons of sugar and pour juice of half a lemon. Fry the apples, stirring constantly, until cooked. At the same time, make sure that the apple juice that has separated out is thickened. This will take about 5 minutes. Be careful, do not overexpose apples on fire, or they can turn into a mushy, unattractive mass that will flow out of the puffs and burn. Allow the apples to cool.

While the apples cool down, you can work with the test. It must be defrosted beforehand. The dough is cut into squares, about 10 by 10 cm in size, and slightly rolled out. Only roll out it is necessary exclusively in one direction, so as not to damage the layered structure of the dough. Put on half of each square stuffing of apples, cover it on top of the second half of the square. Protect the edges to make an envelope. If the edges are worn with a fork, they will be smooth, beautiful and patterned after baking.

From above in the middle of each puff with apples make three notches with a knife, a distance of one cm from each other. In order for the puffs to turn rosy, grease them with the egg whipped with sugar. If you like sweet pastries, sprinkle the puffs with sugar from above. You can also sprinkle the already prepared puff sugar powder.

Put the future baking on a greased baking sheet. Bake puffs with apples in a well-heated oven. Baking at a temperature of about 200 degrees will take about 10-15 minutes.

If desired, apples can be substituted for any other fruit. Very tasty is obtained such baking with pears, peaches and apricots.

Such puffs with jam have an excellent taste. The main thing that it was pitted. Just remember that in the puffs with jam it is necessary to carefully peel the edges. Otherwise, the jam can flow out onto the baking tray and burn.

Fold the dough several times and put it in the fridge. In about ten minutes, repeat the procedure. And so it is necessary to do at least five times.

The technology of a properly prepared puff pastry takes several hours. That's why many housewives prefer not to bother, but buy ready-made puff pastry. It is worth noting that most manufacturers make quite a good dough, from which are obtained excellent puffs with apples.
