Madeline hurries to the beauty salon to show an ugly girlfriend that the world still revolves around her alone. When she is refused re-blood transfusion, one of the managers gives her a strange business card. The man promises that it will look irresistible after meeting the hostess of the business card. But Madeline takes everything for a cruel joke and leaves. In the evening at the reception, she and Ernest see Helen shining and slender, Madeline eats out envy.

That same evening, Madeline enters the mysterious house Lizl von Rouman. For a lot of money, she sells Madeline an elixir of eternal youth. And at the same time Helen convinces Ernest to kill his wife and start all over again with her. The man refuses, but after an unplanned quarrel accidentally kills Madeline. A few minutes later she comes to life, and Ernest scared his wife with a broken neck to death. She does not have a pulse, she becomes pale, like a dead man.
