David Prozez during the shooting process of each episode of "Star Wars" recited his hero's dialogues, but later the creators invited James Earl Jones and re-voiced Vader. Their decision was due to the fact that according to the characteristics, Dart should be the owner of a rattling, deep, "dark" timbre of voice, while Prous had a completely uninviting voice and a reprimand with a notable devonshire accent. For the peculiarities of his pronunciation, the actor received the mocking nickname "Darth Farmer". And Jones recorded all the antagonist remarks in one day, receiving a fee of $ 8,000.

Another disappointment

To somewhat calm the indignation of the actor, the creators promised him that his real face would be captured at the climax of the episode "Return of the Jedi", when according to the scenario plan Vader would be a ghost. But even here the authors of the project sucked, not keeping their promises, eventually using Sebastian Shaw instead of Prous.

The passion and disagreement between the actor and the creators was caused by the most shocking scene, in which Vader confesses to Luke that he is his son. Unexpected plot move became one of the most famous in the history of world cinema. This moment during the production of the tape was kept in the strictest secret, only five knew about it: D. Lucas himself, director I. Kershner, screenwriter L. Kazdan, M. Hamill (actor playing Skywalker) and D. E. Jones, voicing Darth . All others, including David Proze, K. Fisher (the beautiful Leia) and H. Ford (brave Khan Solo), learned the content of the dialogue only after the premiere of the picture. During the filming of the episode of recognition, Prouse recites the memorized replica he gave the script writer, which sounds like "Obi-Wan killed your father," and eventually Johnson recorded the text "I'm Your Father." After the premiere, a private conversation took place between the actor and Kershner, in which an angry performer tried to explain to the director the inexpediency of his deed. After knowing this text and understanding its meaning, David could beat the scene differently. This unpleasant incident during the production of the movie "The Empire Strikes Back" finally disappointed the performer.

In the future, knowing that during the end of the shooting process of V and VI episodes his voice will be replaced, he purposely chanted his cues, mixing others around him. This, of course, displeased the creators and finally spoiled the relationship between them and the performer.
