Comedies of the USSR - national treasure of the country

The comedies of the USSR are films that have been popular for several decades. For example, Grigory Alexandrov's film "Merry Fellows" will celebrate its eightieth birthday in 2014, and Leonid Gaidai's films "Operation Y" and "The Caucasian Captive" will also be available for half a century. What is the reason for such popularity of these, no doubt, works of art?

The comedies of the USSR are distinguished by an exceptional selection of actors. On the screen in the Soviet period, the best of the best got, and they went into this sphere really for the sake of art, because At that time artists did not have any outstanding fees or preferences. In addition, funny people played with a difficult fate. For example, Alexei Smirnov, who played Shurik's partner, a drunkard and parasite, was a military intelligence officer, awarded medals "For Military Merit" and "For Courage." And the embodiment of comedic talents, Yuri Nikulin - anti-aircraft gunner, who fought near Leningrad and in the Baltic states.

The best comedies of the USSR were created without the use of computer graphics. Therefore, the plot of the film unfolded against the background of magnificent landscapes. For example, most of the comedy "Twelve Chairs" was filmed in the city of Rybinsk. The sets were assembled by hand, special effects were invented by themselves, they themselves found ways to implement them from improvised materials. Constant application of the creative forces of many people created a special atmosphere of the tape, which is now often absent on the set.

The late comedies of the USSR, created already in difficult economic conditions, have not lost their charm even with the years. For example, the film of G. Danelia "Kin-dza-dza" with its subjects "sit-ups" in front of a certain color of pants is still relevant. More recently, even a concert was organized, in which variations on the theme of music for this comedy were performed. And the film "Deja Vu", filmed in conjunction with the Poles, very interestingly reflected the features of the Soviet reality of the post-revolutionary period.

The comedies of the USSR still do not have strong competitors. From the films created in Russia, with them to some extent in coloring, a series of films "Peculiarities of national (hunting, fishing, politics)", created in the mid-90s, can compete with them. The rest of the film library is often a translation from Western films.

Old comedies of the USSR are not stingy and on musical accompaniment. To create a worthy sound frame of the story, the best composers, singers, instrumental ensembles and symphony orchestras were invited. For example, the creative duet of Leonid Derbenev and Maxim Dunaevsky created the song for the film "Ah, vaudeville". For the film "Straw Hat" the lyrics were written by Bulat Okudzhava. For the tape "Trufaldino from Bergamo" the songs were voiced by Mikhail Boyarsky.

The combination of all the above qualities and in our time causes a desire to watch this or that film in the twentieth or thirtieth time. While the current Russian films leave much to be desired in terms of plots, actors, although the modern film industry has a much larger set of technical tools.
