Color pasting paste: dignities and classification

The color paste is a mass that differs in a rich tone. It is designed to give the desired color to a variety of types of paints.

The composition can be used as an additional element to the main color, and as a finishing coat for areas with a small size. Such means are well distributed on concrete and brick surfaces, as well as surfaces that have a finish in the form of putty and plaster. They are difficult to replace with interior decoration and decoration of facade works.

History

The first tinted paste appeared in the middle of the last century in the USA. This method of decoration since then has become widespread and has become the main type of work of many institutions of trade, construction and industrial use, whose specialization is in the manufacture and sale of products of paint and varnish type in European countries.

Advantages

Universal tinting paste has a number of advantages that determine its wide area of use and prevalence:

  • Universality;
  • Long-term use without drying out;
  • The appearance of film and lumps is excluded;
  • Easy selection of the desired shade;
  • Ease of use;
  • Excellent combination with binders of standard dyes;
  • Immunity to the influence of an aggressive environment;
  • The ability to work with any type of surface;
  • Atmospheric and light resistance;
  • Frost resistance.

Classification

Today, the coloring paste has a huge sample range. It is important to take into account when selecting both the type of surface, and the conditions of use and composition. Tinting systems are conventionally divided according to some criteria.

First of all it is worth noting the material used. Implemented in some types of systems tinting with binders, others do not require this component. A solution is created in the first variant, similar in appearance to the paint and enabling the production of pastel delicate shades. In another color is much more saturated, and the consistency is characterized by increased density.

The coloring paste is divided into two types: universal and facade. In addition, there are specialized systems, for example for children. Facade means should have a high resistance to atmospheric manifestations and ultraviolet rays. It should be prepared shortly before use, which makes it possible to change the thickness of the hue and to sort out the colors, starting from the lighting and the amount of paint.

The coloring characteristic is formed due to the presence of organic and inorganic pigments . It is considered the most optimal presence of two types of pigment, since they have their advantages and disadvantages. Organic elements are distinguished by bright colors, easily transferable. The disadvantage is the low resistance to the effects of alkali fumes and ultraviolet rays. The inorganic type of pigments is not influenced by atmospheric factors, but it has a much lower brightness of the palette.

Types of coloring

Tinting is performed by two methods: automatic and manual. For the latter you need color ("Tex", for example) of the desired shade, mixed subsequently with white paint. When adding paste in small portions, you can quickly achieve the necessary brightness. Manual method can work in an apartment, house or on a building site. With a small amount of work, convenience is also added to convenience.

Tinting software systems make it possible to compose your own recipes. Thanks to automated dispensers, the required amount of paste is determined as precisely as possible. So the work is carried out neatly and very quickly. It is possible to tint a large base space with obtaining the required quality.
