A new brand of tobacco products was named after the first letters of the manufacturer's name - Liggett Ducat. Already on this fact it is possible to judge quality, because such a big name would hardly have been given to an insignificant and low-quality brand. Cigarettes "LD" were initially positioned as a classic American brand, and today for their manufacture only tobacco mixtures manufactured in the US are used. In 1999, the brand became available to consumers living in Russia, and instantly won incredible popularity. Initially, three types of cigarettes, differing from each other by the fortress, were introduced to the Russian market. A little later, a grade LD with menthol became available to consumers. The cigarettes "LD" in their classic version have the size of King Size, at the time of their appearance in Russia they were produced in standard rectangular packs.

But still the main feature of this series of "LD" - brown cigarettes, a special paper gives them such color. Today on sale you can find the following varieties of LD Club: GOLD, PLATINUM, LOUNGE. Also the stronger analog of LD Pink - LD Violet is produced. This ultra-thin cigarettes, the packs of which are decorated in purple and look glamorous enough.

At different times, the range of LD products has changed in accordance with the needs of consumers. To date, a grade with menthol is not supplied to Russia. Also in the early 2000s, two types of LD cigarettes, differing in strength from each other, could be found on sale, having a length of 100 mm. These tobacco products were not very popular and quickly ceased to be delivered to retail outlets. Pay attention: the word Platinum on the packaging of tobacco products "LD" indicates the presence of a carbon filter that improves the taste, according to the manufacturer.

The tobacco brand "LD" belongs to one of the world's largest corporations working in this field - Japan Tobacco Inc. Cigarettes supplied to our market are manufactured at the company's proprietary plant located in Ukraine. Signed for the brand was 2010. It was then that the cigarettes "LD" thin and thick survived re-reining, during which the design of the package was changed. The edges of the packs became rounded, and the design itself was more stylish and interesting. The designer from England, working on a new image of these tobacco products, has identified the main goal - to remind consumers that it is about products of the highest quality only. In this case, after all the changes, the cost remained the same. And this means that even today cigarettes "LD" (blue and any others) are affordable for every consumer. The current legislation of the Russian Federation prohibits open advertising of tobacco products. The manufacturers can now describe novelties and special properties of their products only on its packages. But, despite the absence of a powerful marketing company, the demand for LD cigarettes does not decrease. Moreover, according to polls, many consumers smoke this brand for years, not intending to change it for something else. We remind: smoking harms your health, and there are no safe tobacco products. It is much more useful for health to completely abandon your bad habit, rather than choose the most qualitative and "least harmful", according to the manufacturer, cigarettes.
