Then followed the lease of a football player in Kortrijk and Mechelen, after which he again found himself in the club "Genk". Pretty soon, the young football player firmly entrenched in the position of the main striker. According to the results of the 2011/2012 season, Christian Benteke was recognized as the best player by the fans of the team.
