"Chondrolon" remedy: analogues of the preparation

"Chondrolon" - a drug that affects the metabolic processes in the hyaline cartilage. This drug activates the biosynthesis of glucosaminoglycans, and also reduces the destructive changes in the cartilaginous tissue. With the application of the above medication, soreness is reduced and the motor skills of the affected joints are improved. It is worth noting that the therapeutic effect after the use of this drug persists for a long time. "Khondrolon" (analogues of this drug are actively used in the treatment of arthropathy, osteoarthritis, and intervertebral osteochondrosis), physicians are often prescribed as part of complex therapy for the treatment of joints. If necessary, a repeat therapeutic course is possible.

"Chondrolon" means: analogues and the mechanism of their action

Chondroitin sulfate is a mucopolysaccharide that inhibits the resorption of bone tissue. Optimizes the phosphoric-calcium metabolism in the cartilaginous tissue, activates the processes of its regeneration, inhibits the degeneration processes in the connective tissue. Stimulates the formation of glycosaminoglycans, increases the synthesis of intraarticular fluid, activates regeneration processes in the cartilaginous tissue. Chondroitin sulfate has a structural similarity with heparin, so it can potentially interfere with the formation of thrombi in the subchondrial and synovial microcirculatory bed.

Adverse events

When using the pharmaceutical agent, side effects may occur. Most often, it is an allergic reaction. Sometimes patients using the "Hondrolone" (drug analogues) may face a problem of hemorrhages at the injection site of the drug. For the same reason, "Hondrolon" is not recommended for patients with hypersensitivity to the drug, bleeding disorders, a tendency to bleeding, and thrombophlebitis. In the rest, the analogue of "Hondrolon" in ampoules has proved to be a rather effective and effective drug. The choice of dosage depends on the patient's condition and the type of his disease.
