Characters and actors who played them: "Wolf's Sun" - a series about the Soviet-Polish confrontation

In 2014, director Sergei Ginzburg shot a multi-series film, which was attended by many famous actors. "Wolf's Sun" gathered a decent audience from the screens and made twelve episodes to watch the development of events with enthusiasm. Who played the main roles in this series and which characters were involved in the screen action?

Invited actors: "Wolf's Sun" and its protagonist Mikhail Ostanin

"Wolf's Sun" is a typical espionage drama. In the center of the plot is a young Chekist, who is happy for the future of his vast Homeland. Owing to his persistence, Mikhail Ostanin becomes the owner of important information that supposedly from Poland a massive offensive of White emigre troops is expected.

The NKVD and intelligence, without thinking twice, entrust Ostanin with a mission to infiltrate the nearest encirclement of the Polish general, Romowski. And Ostan fulfills this task brilliantly. Only to be a spy is not easy, especially when "on the other side," in the camp of the enemy, you find yourself a lover.

Project director Sergei Ginzburg, who earlier removed "Kill Stalin" and "Bitch for the Champion", made sure that his project received enough respected actors: "Wolf's Sun" entered the filmography of Andrei Merzlikin, Ekaterina Klimova, Vladimir Ilyin. But Gela Meskhi, a graduate of the Moscow Art Theater School, is the youngest and most unknown performer in this company . The actor has only 15 works in the cinema. Previously, he played the leading roles in little-known paintings "Hamlet", "Physics or Chemistry", as well as "Son of the Father of Nations." In 2016, with the participation of the artist, four premieres are expected at once.

"Wolf's Sun": actors and roles. Andrei Merzlikin as Viktor Romovsky

According to the plot, from the side of Poland the White Army regiments were to be led by General Romovsky. It was to him that Ostanin had to get into trust. "The sent Cossack" it was possible - gradually the Polish general so trusted the spy that even began to give him personal assignments. The image of Victor Romovsky was entrusted to Andrei Merzlikin, although many other actors claimed the role.

"Wolf's Sun" is not the only project in which Merzlikin was given the role of the main character. Every year the artist strengthens his position in the national cinema more and more. And it all began with the famous militant "Boomer", where Merzlikin appeared along with Vladimir Vdovichenkov and Sergei Gorobchenko. Of the last roles of Merzlikin in the cinema, one can note the image of the director Vadim Raevsky from the picture "The Green Carriage" and the role of Captain Avigin Verigin in the drama "Talyanka".

Vladimir Ilyin as Chekist Shilov

Vladimir Ilyin has acted in film since 1967. But because of his unusual appearance, the artist has been in the shadows for a long time. Only in adulthood, Ilyin found his unique type and began to enjoy success.

The first picture, after which Vladimir became aware, is the drama "Accident - the daughter of a cop," in which Ilyin played the role of a policeman. Then there was a whole series of films in which Ilyin was entrusted with the role of military or policemen: "Anchor, still an anchor", "Lost in Siberia", "Makarov". Closer to 2000, Ilyin played the role of Cyril in "Burnt by the Sun", the role of the investigator in the action movie "Crusader" and Captain Mokin in "The Barber of Siberia". For a long time the artist played an employee of the Moscow MIR Gryaznov in the series "March of Turkish".

In the film "Wolf's Sun" actors Vladimir Ilyin and Gela Meskhi played colleagues in the NKVD.

Ekaterina Klimova as Beata

The graduate of the Shchepkinsky school, Ekaterina Klimova, broke into the screens for the first time in 2004, thanks to the premiere of the soap opera "Poor Nastya". Then Klimova got one of the main roles - Princess Repnina. I must say, the actress looked very impressive in historical dresses and wore them with dignity.

Then for four years, Klimova lost herself in episodic roles in various serials. And in 2008, the actress reminded herself again of the nurse Ninochka from the popular movie "We are from the Future" (with the participation of Danila Kozlovsky and Vladimir Yaglych). Now Klimova constantly flashes on the screens, getting the main roles in a wide variety of projects.

In the film "Wolf's Sun" the actors Klimov and Meskhi, unfortunately, did not play the lovers, although the couple would be beautiful. The protagonist chose another girl - the heroine of Sophia Kashtanova. However, the Polish beauty Beata in the performance of Catherine did not lose hope to win the heart of Mikhail Ostanin to the last.

Other performers of roles

The actors of the movie "Wolf's Sun" - this is Alexander Robak, and Jan Frych, and Sophia Kashtanova.

Robak, known for the films "Motherland" and "Life is just beginning," got the role of smuggler Stefan Gansky in the series. A Polish actor Jan Frych acted as the head of the Polish counterintelligence Frantisek Sigunda. And finally, the beloved protagonist (the Polish lady Irina Belinskaya) was played by Sophia Kashtanova, who previously starred in the films "Resort romance", "Thaw" and "Random communication".
