What is lavash?

Lavash is traditional bread in the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus, it is a flat cake made from wheat flour without any additives. This, in fact, unleavened bread, which is suitable for any dish.

The pita bread with cheese is cooked very quickly. Here you need only a few ingredients: lavash, cheese (300 g), garlic (2-3 cloves), 3 eggs and milk. Cheese should be grated on a fine grater, add garlic to it and mix well. Separately, beat the eggs and mix them with milk. Mix these two blends to make it look like dough. Lavash should be placed in a deep baking tray and put the stuffing, cover with lavash leaf, then again stuffing. You can do several layers. But the last must be pita bread. Bake for about 15 minutes at a temperature of 180-200 degrees.

This casserole can be served for breakfast and as a snack in a cold form.

Home-made lavash

Buy bread has become a habit for everyone. Considering that now even chemical mixtures are added to it, some begin to bake houses. The usual bread and loaf is hard to do, it's easier to bake pita bread.

The recipe is very easy to translate into reality. To do this, only 400 g of flour and 400 ml of water will be needed, salt is added to taste. Hot water is slowly poured into the flour. It's hot to get the dough elasticity. It should be dense enough to roll out. The finished dough is divided into equal parts, each rolled into a pancake and fried in a frying pan until a ruddy crust appears. Pita bread must be piled and covered with a towel so that they do not become brittle. Now they can be eaten as bread, and can be used for pizza casserole.
