It is possible with tea, but you can drink something stronger, a liqueur, for example, or a sweet wine with such wonderful desserts. Not an exception and a cake with nuts, poppy seeds and raisins. Such a product in the culinary arts of the USSR was called "Fairy Tale", and he even had his own GOST. How much it was tasty - from memory has already worn off with time. And we just try to make a homemade cake with nuts, poppy seeds and raisins, consisting of several cakes, impregnated with cream and these rather useful ingredients. Well, just lick your fingers!

Cake with nuts, poppy seeds and raisins

Ingredients : three eggs, one and a half glasses of flour, one and a half cups of sugar, and a half cup of sour cream, three teaspoons of baking powder (prepared at home: ten grams of lemon acid, fifteen grams of soda, thirty grams of flour). For filling the cakes we take half a glass of poppy, half a glass of peeled and chopped walnuts, half a glass of raisins. For cream - sour cream and sugar.

Preparation of cakes according to the classic recipe

We start the cake with nuts, poppy seeds and raisins from the dough and cake. They, we recall, will be three. Accordingly, the dough will need to be divided into three equal parts. Some housewives act very simply: for each cake knead the dough separately, taking a third of the ingredients. Let's do it and we. Sugar, egg and sour cream are mixed, lightly beaten. Similarly, we make baking of the second and third cakes. Only instead of poppy add nuts, peeled and heavily chopped, as well as raisins without pits (kishmish). Nuts are better to take, like the raisins, fresh, "market". Let them and cost more. But, whatever you say - guarantee of authenticity: in packs in supermarkets they are often stale, not having original taste, emasculated. All three of our cakes are baked in turn and let them cool.

Cream

In the meantime, we'll make a cream. The simplest, but delicious! One glass of sour cream, thick enough, whisk in a blender or a mixer with several large spoons of sugar. Some housewives prefer to put honey as an option. The main thing here is to get airy, well-beaten, homogeneous.

Next - generously blot the creams with cream and add one to the other. In what order? It's up to you to decide. Some put poppy in the middle, they say, it's so delicious. We give the cake a good soak. From above the work of culinary art is decorated with the same nuts, raisins. You can use chocolate chips. Here, the freedom of choice is yours. You can make a similar cake with custard. Some people even like it more. To do this, mix two raw eggs, 100 grams of sugar, half a glass of flour sifted. Add half a cup of warmed milk and mix. In the resulting mixture add more milk (250 grams). Bring to a boil, stirring. Cook until thick in a very low heat. Add grams of a hundred oils and whisk together until smooth.
