Bus PAZ-3205 and its modification PAZ-32053

To start a little history. In the 70s of the last century Pavlovsk bus plant seriously engaged in the development of a new model of auto. The leadership of PAZ repeatedly made attempts to replace the outdated model 652 with a more modern one. The reasons for this were more than enough, ranging from "medieval" design and ending with poor technical characteristics. Soon, in the course of numerous tests and developments, a completely new bus, PAZ-3205, was born. It happened only in 1989. In general, this model was originally planned to be equipped with ZIL power units. But cooperation with the Likhachev plant did not give anything. As a result, the bus PAZ-3205 began to be equipped with Gorky-made motors.

The car was produced until 2007, while the imported parts and units were not delivered to the conveyor. This was a turning point in the history of the PAZ-3205 bus, because now it was equipped with the most high-quality details. But foreign parts came only in exchange for the most unreliable. The engine and gearbox remained unchanged. By the way, in the same year Pavlovsky bus plant seriously engaged in the refinement of the body. Due to the fact that the metal on it is strong and often rusted, an anti-corrosion treatment was performed. So, the body on new PAZs became more durable. Improvements have touched and interior. Almost for 20 years of its existence model 3205 has never been updated inside. Modern buses now have many new elements: the floor and plastic sheathing have given the machine humanity. The driver's workplace has also undergone a change - the level of ergonomics has increased significantly, but here the design of the panel is clearly behind the times.

Technical characteristics of PAZ-3205 and its modifications

For its entire period of existence, this car has received many modifications, among which a special place was taken by the model 32053. From its basic version the car was only one-door layout, but in spite of this it was the 32053-th modification that became the most popular on urban and suburban routes. There are several reasons that influenced the popularity of this modification of the PAZ-3205. Price - this is perhaps the most important aspect to which you should pay attention. Depending on the level of equipment, the cost for this bus ranged from 910 to 980 thousand rubles. This is two to three times less than that of foreign analogs.

The machine is equipped with two power units. Among them there is a gasoline ZMZ-5234.10 and a turbo-diesel engine MMZ-245.7. It is also envisaged to equip the engine from the Yaroslavl Engine Plant YMZ-534, which fully complies with the exhaust regulations of EURO-4. All three power plants are distinguished by their high reliability, and their special placement under the cab allows the driver to quickly make repairs without leaving the cabin.

Overhauled by a number of numerous improvements in 2007, the updated PAZ-3205 stepped closer to its foreign counterparts in terms of reliability and comfort and at the same time kept a very reasonable price.
