British Court Got On Htc Party In Patent Dispute With Apple

Apple's patent wars with other participants of the mobile devices market have already entered the history of modern technologies. Apple copyright courts are held around the world and not always successfully. For example, recently the Court of Great Britain upheld the HTC Corporation in a dispute with Apple, issuing a ruling that the Taiwanese manufacturer had not violated its patents.
According to the decree, HTC filed all charges against the illegal use of four Apple patents, which it uses in mobile devices. Apple employees have so far refused to comment on the verdict. HTC representatives, of course, approved the ruling, stressing that it once again confirms that Apple's claims are unfounded.
Patents, because of which the dispute broke out, described the technology of using a multilanguage keyboard, unlocking devices using certain gestures, as well as working with screen elements and images.
It is worth noting that the patent for the slide-to-unlock tool is the cause of Apple's disputes with other market players, in particular Motorola Mobility and Samsung Electronics.
HTC Corporation is currently involved in several patent disputes with the main competitors in the mobile electronics sector. In particular, Apple's claims forced the Taiwanese manufacturer to postpone the release of one of the flagship devices in the US territory and finalize a number of others under the requirements of the ITC (International Trade Commission).
HTC is experiencing tough competition in the smartphone sector, primarily from the Samsung Galaxy and Apple iPhone. In June this year, the Taiwanese company lowered the forecast for financial revenue in the second quarter of 2012 to 3.03 billion US dollars (13%). The reason for the lower forecast was the decline in sales in Europe, as well as significant delays in the production and supply of a number of devices in the US.
