Diana - Countess de Belflor, Dona Marta, my Lady de Winter ... This is not an exhaustive list of the works of the brilliant actress of the second half of the 20th century, Margarita Terekhova. A born Siberian, Margarita, when she was a child, moved with her parents to Tashkent. At school the girl studied perfectly and after graduation she received a gold medal. Then there were two long student years at the Tashkent University, at the Physics and Mathematics Faculty. It would seem that the biography of Margarita Terekhova was built in the best way, but in fact the future actress was burdened with studying the exact sciences and in 1961, without regret, she left her studies at the university.
After some time Margarita went to Moscow in the hope of enrolling in a theatrical high school. However, she had to content herself with the Studio School at the Mossovet Theater. Nevertheless, the biography of Margarita Terekhova as an actress has already begun its countdown. Young beautiful Terekhova selflessly studied the subtleties of acting, with unprecedented perseverance studying the theory of Stanislavsky and dreaming of ever applying them in his work in the field of theatrical art. Her dedication evoked the envy of classmates, the whole school-studio gasped when Margarita cut off her long braid, explaining this act short of time for combing her hair.
In 1964, Margarita Terekhova's biography was enlarged with a new page: the actress graduated from the course of studies and joined the troupe of the Mossovet Theater as a young actress. Terekhova was entrusted with the main roles, the cast was respected by her, the creative atmosphere in the theater with her arrival improved noticeably. However, like any self-respecting theatrical actress, Margarita Terekhova (whose biography, it seemed, was not yet sufficiently substantial) was looking towards the cinema. She wanted to be removed, to play interesting characters, to be in demand by a professional artist. The creative aspirations of the ambitious actress were rewarded: in 1965 she began acting in films.
The first paintings with Margarita's participation were serious, profound works, but the artist's soul demanded a very personal, integral image in which one could fully reveal and show all of its skills. And such a work was Margarita in the person of Andrei Tarkovsky, who offered her a role in the movie "Mirror". The role was double: Terekhova was to play mother Maria - an image largely symbolic - and the wife of the main character of the film - Natalia. Margarita brought her vision of the plot into the picture, made several proposals to Tarkovsky, which he accepted. On the shooting of "Mirror" reigned atmosphere of gratitude, every shooting day was full of mutual understanding, all worked tirelessly in anticipation of amazing results. And they happened, the movie "Mirror" made a real sensation as soon as it was released in the rental.
In 1966, the personal life of the actress changed, and the biography of Margarita Terekhova received several new pages. The popular actress got acquainted with the Bulgarian singer Savva Hashimov, who at that time was married. But you can not order your heart: the young people began to live together, they had a daughter. However, the marriage was doomed from the very beginning, and after a year and a half the spouses were safely separated. Later, the actress Margarita Terekhova, whose biography does not contain data about any attempts to create a new family, was completely devoted to creativity, in which she succeeded. And she successfully realized her feminine essence in the role of a noble Neapolitan, Countess of Diana, in the movie "A Dog in the Manger".
