Beaded herringbone with her own hands

We present to your attention: "The Christmas tree of beads" - a master class. He will quickly and efficiently produce a similar craft.

In order to weave this herringbone from beads, you will need:

- Cutting green color - 50 grams;
- Cutting of golden color - 5 grams;
- 50 meters of copper wire;
- alabaster;
- Colored stones;
- large beads like pearls;
- bugles green or white;
- stand.

So, with the materials we have decided, so let's get down to work. Our Christmas tree will consist of ten levels, in each of which we arrange four branches. Let's start with the top, since it will be the first level. Cut the wire length of 45 cm and thread it on one bead of golden color, 1 bugle, 1 bead of gold color, 1 silver and a bead of green color. We pass the tip of the wire through all the beads, except the first - golden. Thus, the whole beads must be in the middle of the wire, after which we breed its ends. For each of them we now dial 4 green beads. At the edges of the wire we twist the circles and corners by 3-4 turns. Immediately do the same two eyelets, but perpendicular to the first two, and twist two turns under the eyelets.

The second level begins with the fact that we take a wire of 25 cm in length, as well as 3 green, 2 gold, 3 green beads and we twist the loop in the middle from all this. Then at each end we make a separate loop, and we get a branch. Such twigs should turn out exactly 4, so that the herringbone of beads eventually turned out to be symmetrical.

We proceed to the third level. We need 4 pieces of wire, the length of which will be 30 cm. We make 5 loops on each. The first 3 are the same, and the other two types according to the scheme: 4 green beads, 2 golden, 4 green. Then we take 8 more pieces of wire of 30 cm and make 8 twigs of them each with 5 loops. The first 3 loops are made, as in the previous cases, and the other two are as follows: 6 green, 2 gold, 6 green. From 2 branches form one.

Then in the fourth level four large twigs are obtained. For them, we use 4 pieces of wire of 35 cm. We make 7 loops on each branch, the first three as usual, and the following according to the scheme: 6 green, 2 gold, 6 green. The next level is 8 segments of 30 cm. We make 5 loops on each branch and collect one of the two branches. Using an additional wire of 20 cm, we wind one branch to the other. At this stage, the herringbone of beads is already beginning to acquire a clear silhouette.

In the future, the process of production of this souvenir is based on the fact that new levels of wire with beads are formed, which are twisted into turns and join together. You can do this as much as you like, and the more levels you get, the higher the herringbone will be. The main thing is to take into account the rules of symmetry and make sure that the product "stood on its feet", that is, did not swing in different directions. It is worth noting that if the wire is very tight, then the craft can reach large sizes.

After all the operations carried out, our Christmas tree of beads requires assembly. Its top and bottom should be wrapped with wire in order to give more strength and stability to the souvenir. Keep the distance between the levels: 8 mm top - 12 mm bottom. Now that the Christmas tree is made of beads, fix it in a stand, pour the base with alabaster and decorate with rhinestones and beads. The main thing is to make sure that the decorations do not outweigh the Christmas tree itself. It is best to use beads, rhinestones, tinsel and light plastic balls.
