"Be in the know" Beeline service. How to disable and enable the service

Modern man can not imagine himself without a mobile phone. Be in touch everywhere and always, be able to round-the-clock communication with loved ones, maintain many business contacts - the norm of our time.

The world is wider than it seems

With the development of mobile communications, the market for telephone services began to expand rapidly. Large operators are struggling for the attention of the consumer, offering more and more new tariffs, various functions and additional services. Every year the use of mobile phone is becoming more convenient.

The giants of the mobile communications market are ready to offer customers solutions to all or almost all problems in a highly competitive environment. One of such weaknesses until the time was a temporary lack of communication for various reasons - from network failures to a discharged subscriber's phone.

Eliminate the breakthrough took several telecom operators. Almost every major player on the mobile field has its own tricks to track failed calls and transfer information to customers. One of the leading communication operators on the Russian market is Beeline. What does he offer his clients?

New features from Beeline

By introducing a new modern "Be in the know" service, Beeline provides its subscribers with additional conveniences. Now no call will not be missed! Previously, this was possible if the subscriber's phone was disconnected (for example, discharged), was out of the network coverage area, or the subscriber simply could not answer the call.

Now everything is different. In case you do not get to call someone, your unsuccessful interlocutor will receive an SMS message about the call as soon as his phone becomes available again. Of course, only if it has this option enabled.

The same applies to you. If you have activated the "Be in the know" service, Beeline will carefully notify all callers at a time when you, for example, attended an important meeting (of course, having switched off the phone) or did not hear any calls in the noise of city streets. Also, the total number of calls from each subscriber and their exact time will be indicated.

Let's update the conditions

Does Beeline let us connect "Free of charge" for free? Or is it a paid service? What are the general conditions for connecting / disabling this option? The most detailed information on the topic can be obtained on the official website of the operator.

Particularly convenient is the use of a private office. Each subscriber "Beeline" by default has its own office on the site, the login to which is the phone number. You can get into your office for the first time, having received a password to enter. The password can be sent by SMS message on a special request or to the e-mail address you want to specify.

Once in the private office, the user has the opportunity to get detailed information about his calls for a certain period, check the balance or clarify the tariff. "Be aware of" Beeline is positioned as a free service. That is, the subscription fee for it is not taken either with a prepayment or with a postpaid payment system.

But is it really completely free of charge this "chip" from Beeline - "Be in the know"? The cost of disconnecting or connecting a service with the help of a support center operator is neither much less than 45 rubles, as Beeline unambiguously informs customers in the description section of the service.

How can I activate the service?

To activate the service, dial * 110 * 401 # and press the dial key. The phone number for connecting the option is 0674 09 401. To the team to disable the "Be in the know" Beeline provided the following: * 110 * 400 #, pressing the dial key. Similarly, the disconnection can be made by the number 0674 09 400.

How relevant is this service? The consumer must decide whether the option "Be aware" is required. Beeline positions it as necessary and extremely useful, but everyone makes a final choice for themselves. Obviously, this service will be very useful for those who have a lot of business contacts and just do not have the right to miss an important call. Subscribers, however, leading a more measured lifestyle and using the phone mainly for personal conversations, it may not be needed.

News from Beeline

With the development of the mobile services market, "Be in the know" Beeline decided not to limit himself. Recently, a new, more advanced option, "Be in the know +", has been introduced. Obviously, it is assumed that it will replace the old one, and it will join the ranks of archival services. That is, it becomes unavailable for new connections.

What is the difference? What does not suit "Be in the know" Beeline? The description of the new "chip" with a "+" sign says that if you are unavailable, your subscriber will no longer have to listen to the dull beeps or the message "subscriber is unavailable". Instead, he will be offered to leave a voice message. And you will receive SMS-notification that "such and such and such" has left a message for you, and you can listen to it on a certain short number. And the number for each message is separate, and the message of your interlocutor is kept not less than 24 hours.

If you suddenly remove one and from such messages, then nothing terrible in this. There is a short number 0646, typing which, you can listen to all the messages you posted in the last 24 hours.

There are limitations. The duration of each message is no more than 40 seconds. And these messages a day a subscriber can get no more than 30.

In the event that your unsuccessful interlocutor does not want to trouble himself with a voice message, you will simply be sent an SMS about a missed call.

What is the price of the issue?

If initially the new service was positioned as free, then later Beeline changed his mind. At the time of this writing (August 2014), the subscription fee for the service "Be in the know +" is 60 kopecks per day, which is about 18 rubles a month. The amount, it would seem, is insignificant and fully pays for those who need to receive a voice message from the caller.

But it should be remembered that the one who left the voice message will also pay for it. The exact amount will depend on his own tariff. And involuntarily the question arises whether this paid service is needed. After all, with a conversation, only one person pays - the one who called. And in the event that the conversation does not happen, both are shelling out - the caller - for leaving the "elusive" message, as well as its addressee - by paying the service on a daily basis. And the subscription fee for the provided option will be withheld from him in the event that the caller does not even think of leaving any message - because the service is still connected.

And what do consumers think?

An ordinary consumer of communication services very often does not know what services he is connected to. Not all will be meticulously checking the balance every day and will not notice writing off such a small amount. Many do not even remember which tariff they use. And if they suddenly become puzzled by this question, then it will not come to everyone to go to their personal office and thoroughly understand everything.

Meanwhile, when switching to a number of new tariffs (for example, to the tariff "Zero of doubts") this option is automatically connected, which the consumer is notified with a small print at the very end of the description of the terms of the tariff plan. There is also a link to detailed information about the service, which also includes a way to disconnect. Although in most cases the description page remains inaccessible, for which Beeline apologizes.

Thus, the consumer has all chances to get an option on the principle of "all inclusive". And he will think, refuse it (spending an additional 45 rubles, which are taken when disconnecting through the operator), or to give up on an insignificant amount and leave it as it is, even if the service does not need it at all.

The vast majority of consumers will not waste time on trifles because of such a meager amount. But the unpleasant residue from the imposed service still remains.

Let's sum up the results

This service is important and necessary. And for most subscribers, the fee for it is purely symbolic. In addition, the opportunity to learn about the content of a missed important call, as they say, is worth a lot.

For those who basically do not want to overpay even a penny for an unnecessary service, there is always the possibility of disconnection - it is worth demonstrating a minimum of perseverance.
