Basic types of management

The financial manager of the organization directs and plans its activities to realize the entire resource potential of the organization and achieve maximum production efficiency. Management is a variety of forms, techniques and methods for managing personnel and production.

A few years ago, when science management only appeared, it had one indivisible object. With the passage of time, from this object, a few more objects were singled out, which, in turn, gave life to several other directions. And there are even such types of management that are typical for a certain country, reflect its specificity (for example, there is a Russian management model).

Types of management can be different, and their number continues to grow. In real production, new models are being tried, specialists use new terms and definitions. Types of management are separate areas of management activities that are designed to solve a variety of tasks.

Organizational, strategic, tactical and operational management is singled out for management objects . Organizational management is at the root of the creation of a structure, a management mechanism, the development of a complex of management functions, rules and standards. Strategic management realizes long-term goals in management activities after their preliminary installation. The potential of human resources, the reorientation of the consumer's needs for effective organization of production is the basis of strategic management. There are different models of strategic management. Tactical management in something similar to the strategic, it is developed in the development of strategy. The level of organization of such management methods is the middle management level, and the time interval for forecasting is much shorter. Operational management solves the problems arising in the production process. It is based on the distribution of work and resources, tracking the progress of tasks at the current time.

Depending on the functional identity, the following types of management are distinguished:

  1. Marketing-management . Studying financial markets, creating new sales channels, forming a pricing policy.
  2. Production management allows you to monitor the production processes of the organization, to carry out the main activities of the enterprise through the coordination of actions and processes.
  3. Sales management is the process of organizing the marketing of products, participation in the design of economic contracts for the supply of products.
  4. Personnel management is the qualitative planning of the use of labor resources, their selection, placement, training. This includes the development of a system for motivating and stimulating the personnel of the organization.
  5. Financial management - is the development of goals and objectives of financial management of the organization, planning financial activities of the organization, developing methods for the effective management of financial resources of the organization. Financial management includes risk management and tax management.
  6. Innovative management - organizes work with innovations, coordinates the use of scientific discoveries. This management implies a creative mood in the team, a special attitude of the working staff, ready for constant experimentation and mastering of new technologies.
  7. Investment management is the job of managing investments, rational investment of capital for profit in the future.
  8. Eckouting management is a management based on comprehensively collecting information, processing and analyzing it, with further comparison of the performance of other organizations with a similar activity.
  9. Adaptive management aims to adapt to changing environmental conditions. For example, brokerage offices are a vivid example of an adaptive system.

10. Anti-crisis management is the management of the processes that accompany the organization's bankruptcy procedure. For example, management during the period of bankruptcy proceedings or when concluding a peace agreement.

There is also attacking management, viral, communication, mechanistic, problem-oriented, transformative, prognostic, project, pulsating, liberated, rational, signal, situational, effective and self-management.
