What should be the sequence of apartment repairs

Almost every person sooner or later faces the repair of the apartment. At the same time, having decided to start work, it is necessary to decide on a large number of questions. And here it is important to know the sequence of repairing an apartment, all its main stages, which will help plan the entire process.

Before you start planning everything, you need to decide on the type of repair: it will be cosmetic or capital. Between themselves, they are significantly different. In the first case, only the replacement of decorative coatings with a complex of work on surface preparation occurs. In the second case, there are more global changes, including the redevelopment of the apartment.

In general, the sequence of repair of the apartment is as follows:

- installation of windows, doors;

- installation of partitions;

- electric installation work;

- replacement of the heating system;

- plastering works ;

- preparation of the surface for finishing;

- facing works, installation of decorative coating.

Depending on what will be replaced, some stages are excluded. Stages of repairing an apartment in a new building may also differ, depending on whether the roughing is finished or "turnkey".

Also, additional auxiliary works are included, such as rearrangement or removal from the furniture room, removal of construction debris, etc.

This is due to the high risk of work, as well as the need to calculate the total capacity, compliance with various norms, etc. Replacement of electrical wiring and heating may not be included in the apartment repair sequence, if only replacement of the finishing material is planned.
