Automation for greenhouses. Plant watering and ventilation

In modern greenhouses, a drip irrigation system is used. Greenhouse plants do not require sprinkling, as dust is not deposited on them, and they are not polluted, unlike plantings in open space.

Automatic irrigation in the greenhouse is carried out by a branched system of pipelines and irrigation devices. Together with the water, it supplies all the necessary nutrients and fertilizers directly to the roots of the plants. In greenhouses, there is almost no evaporation, which is an important factor for growing.

The irrigation composition, its dosage, the irrigation schedule are controlled by the system itself. It allows you to adjust these parameters as needed, without daily monitoring of the process. As it was said, watering is automatic, it produces treatment evenly and constantly, regardless of the weather conditions outside. The presence of sensors in more modern systems allows you to change its mode and intensity depending on the air temperature. Automation for greenhouses with a large area implies the presence of more complex mechanisms. Here watering is carried out by a special cart, moving along the guides, and the dose and schedule of their movement are controlled by a computer program.

Automation for greenhouses has a number of advantages that affect overall performance. First, it reduces the burden on workers, and secondly, it reduces the consumption of water and fertilizers to sixty percent, since the irrigation composition is fed directly to the roots, excluding the "empty" enrichment of the earth around the plant. In addition, automatic watering prevents the formation of a crust, which could interfere with the supply of oxygen. Water does not fall on the leaves and fruits, which excludes the infection of their fungal diseases.

This approach to watering (under the root) prevents the appearance of weeds, all the necessary nutrients come to the plants. This is an important factor affecting the yield and consumption of water and fertilizers.

In addition to watering under the root, there is automatics for greenhouses, implying a drainage option. Water is fed through a special pipeline, located along the entire length of the greenhouse. This species has a number of advantages: a large area of watering, a system of unpretentious - allows you to use water of low quality.

In addition to irrigation, the ventilation system is automated in the greenhouses , which also affects the yield and growth process. It does not imply the presence of complex mechanisms and devices. The system includes a conventional vent, equipped with a thermal drive, which opens it and closes it after cooling the working element in it. It is desirable to place such details of windows in the upper part of the room, since warm air accumulates there. For better circulation in the greenhouse, fans are used, which reduces the ventilation time.

Automation for greenhouses helps increase productivity and reduce costs for consumables - fertilizers, water. The system is constantly being modernized, due to which this kind of activity becomes more attractive for employees.
