If earlier children were assigned to the first class without any training skills, today the first-year student must first cross the school threshold with certain skills and knowledge. And to begin to prepare the baby for study it is necessary in advance, while he is still a preschool child. Of course, it's great if classes with kids are in the forms of games and entertainment.

One of the ways to get to know the simplest geometric concepts in the game form is the application of geometric shapes. Such an interesting and fascinating occupation, like geometric appliqués, besides knowledge in mathematics, develops practical skills of working with scissors, glue and paper. And, as is known, the development of the motor skills of children's fingers has a huge positive effect on the center of speech. Also, the appliqué from geometric figures helps to awaken the artistic and spatial perception of the world from the growing personality, teaches in the complex to see the constituent parts, and in the larger one - the smaller one.

The easiest way for very young people is the "Rassadie in the Garden of Flowers" class. For a picture with a flower bed, you might need circles of yellow color - for the middle of the flowers - and circles of different colors for the petals. The number of single-colored circles should be a multiple of 6. The flowers should be "planted" on a sheet of green. You can take even velvet paper, because the grass must be fluffy. In the manufacture of this work, the child develops the notion of a color scheme. Also, the child learns that in one flower in nature, most often all the petals have the same color. The green triangles will schematically represent the rows of spruce branches. The application from geometric figures for children of more adults and skillful can be called "Piglet" and consist of three different-sized ovals of pink color, but slightly different in shades, two triangles - ears and four sticks (rectangles) - legs. One large oval will represent the trunk, the second smaller - the head, and the third, quite small - a patch.

First, paste a torso on a clean sheet. Then, inside the oval representing the trunk, we place the head, shifting the middle oval to the very edge of the large oval, so that the refined edges of the ovals coincide. Piglet stick on the middle of the head. Thus, we have a "sandwich" made of pink ovals, where each new, smaller piece is stacked on top of the previous one.

Then we attach the ears to the head, and the legs to the trunk. Nostrils, eyes and a tail at the very end of the work will be drawn with a felt-tip pen. But the guys for whom such an occupation, like an applique from geometric figures, is not an opening, really cut out black paper and eyes, and nostrils for his piglet.

By the way, working with such applications, children unconsciously in the brain is laid the way of the simplest schematic drawing, which is also extremely important for its development.
