The St. Petersburg Theater "Russian Entreprise" named after Andrei Mironov has been around for 30 years. Its founder is Rudolf Furmanov. Today this theater is one of the most famous in St. Petersburg.

About the theater

The Andrei Mironov Theater was founded in 1988. At the grand opening was the mother of the artist - Maria Vladimirovna, she cut the ribbon in front of the entrance to the doors of this temple of art. Originally it was a concert studio named after Andrei Mironov. But by 1991 it had acquired the status of a theater.

But these are only official dates, in fact, the history of "Russian Entreprise" began long before 1988. It happened thanks to R. Furmanov. This man was the very first real entrepreneur in Russia. It was he who introduced the concept of "entreprise" in our country, that is, the troupe headed by a private entrepreneur, called an entrepreneur.

The first, informal troupe of R. Furmanov included such stars as Zinovy Gerdt, Andrei Mironov, Yuri Nikulin, Lyudmila Chursina, Arkady Raikin, Alisa Freindlikh, Vasily Lanovoy, Elina Bystritskaya, Vladislav Strzhelchik, Svetlana Kryuchkova, Anatoly Papanov, Oleg Basilashvili and Others. Thanks to this talented entrepreneur, the actors toured with performances and concerts throughout the country and the post-Soviet space.

And in 1988 Furmanov Rudolph opened the Andrei Mironov Theater and is to this day his permanent artistic director of the theater.

"Russian Entreprise" operates on the principles of the Russian pre-revolutionary contract troupe and European self-financed theater organization.

Theater R. Furmanov - non-state. The composition of the troupe is very often changed. Artists work on a contract basis. But at the same time there are a lot of performances here, as in any repertoire regular theater, and not as usual in one-two projects for years.

"Russian Entreprise" often holds actions, presentations of books, on its stage festivals are held.

Artistic director

Andrei Mironov's theater, as already mentioned above, was founded by R. Furmanov. He was born in 1938 in Leningrad. Rudolf Davydovich is an entrepreneur, producer, actor, writer and director. In 1998, he received the title of "Honored Artist", and in 2008 he became People's Artist of Russia. In 2013 he received the Order of Merit for the Fatherland 4th degree. His mother was a master of sports in skydiving. She died of tuberculosis in 1940, when Rudolph was not yet two years old. Raised by his aunt - mother's sister. R. Furmanov survived the blockade of Leningrad.

Rudolph began filming Furmanov from the childhood. He played in the famous painting "Dirk". Two years Rudolf Davydovich studied at the theater department, then left the school. A few years later he graduated from the Polytechnic Institute.

Active concert activity R. Furmanov began in 1958. For the years of his work he has played more than eighty roles on the stage and in the cinema.

In 1988, he opened the "Russian Entreprise" Theater. Andrei Mironov. Over the past 20 years he has written several books. In 2010 he established the actor's prize "Figaro".

The children and grandchildren of Rudolf Davydovich followed in his footsteps. Son - the director, grandson - to study at the St. Petersburg Academy of Theatrical Art.

Andrey Mironov

The Andrei Mironov Theater was named after the famous Soviet actor, who was incredibly popular at the time. His parents were artists. Mother - Maria Mironova, father - Alexander Semenovich Menaker. Andrei was born in 1941 in Moscow. At first he was Menaker, like his father. But because of the hostile attitude towards Jews in the USSR, the parents changed the boy's name to the mother's. So he became Andrei Mironov. The first time to act in films the future actor tried at the age of 11 years. But the director rejected him. After that, Andrew enrolled in a theater studio. After school A. Mironov graduated from the famous Shchukin school. At the age of 19, he starred in his first film. After graduation, Andrei Alexandrovich was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow theater of satire. There he served 25 years.

In August 1987, Andrei Alexandrovich toured in Riga. During the play "Crazy Day, or The Marriage of Figaro", he lost consciousness, not having time to finish the last scene. An ambulance took him to a local hospital. The artist was diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage. Doctors fought for the life of the actor for two days. But on August 16, 1987 A. Mironov died. The artist was buried in Moscow at the Vagankovskoye cemetery.
