Anaerobic sealant is a substance that is used in an oxygen-permeable environment, for example, in metal and plastic tubes, and because of its properties it does not change its structure.

In most cases, anaerobic sealant is used in autonomous heating systems as a sealant, which ensures the continuity of the system in the future. Due to its functionality, this substance provides full sealing of welded seams, hermetic sealing of threaded connections, thread sealing on pipes and pipe joints, and fixing of various cylindrical parts from any material.

Anaerobic sealant includes the following substances:

• Monomers, or oligomers from acrylic;

• A set of substances that perform initiating functions;

• Stabilizers;

First of all, the substance must harden more quickly after application and more firmly come into contact with a certain type of metal. In addition, when choosing a sealant, special attention must be paid to the color pigments contained in it, this is because the color of the material and the color of the sealant should be similar.

Also, do not forget about where the parts will be sealed or sealed with sealant. With the help of some manipulations with the composition of the substance, it is possible to increase its protection against alkaline and acidic effects. In the event that the parts are used in a high temperature environment, this will already require a sealant with a wider range of temperature and operating conditions.
