If we compare its location to Moscow, then it is located far from it in the east. In this regard, the difference between these cities in time is very significant. The difference with Moscow is as much as 9 hours. When in the capital of our country 12:00, in Anadyr is already 21:00. According to international standards, this time zone is designated UTC + 12.

This means that for a very long time the temperature of the earth's surface does not rise above 0 C. The entire territory of the peninsula is in a natural zone called the tundra. There are no forests here. Of plants, you can often find Arctic willow, blueberries, cranberries and others, their height does not exceed 20 centimeters. For example, in 2014, the population index was 14029 people, in 2013 - 13747 people.

Of course, by the standards of the country, where there are really large megacities, Anadyr is not a leader. In the list it is on the 809th place from 1114 cities of Russia.

In 2009-2011, there were observed some trends that strongly influenced the demographic situation. At that time, as a result of migration, there was a significant outflow of population. However, at the same time, a good trend was noted for the city - the birth rate exceeded mortality.

Of course, this is an important part of any settlement. The transport structure here is represented by several components. Among them there is a seaport, aviation, roads and public transport.

To begin with, of course, we need to talk about the port of Anadyr. This is an object that has a truly important transport value. From here ships go to Vladivostok, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Magadan and other ports. However, the navigation period does not last long, it is 4 months. Thus, the transportation is carried out from July 1 to November 1.

As for roads, in the city they are mostly concrete. There is a federal highway A384. It goes from Anadyr to the airport. The length of the road is about 23 kilometers. In the city there are several bus routes that connect the main important places.

Air communication with other cities

So, we considered transport in Anadyr, and now we need to discuss the airport in more detail. Anadyr has a large federal air port. It is located near the town, in the village called Kugli Kopi. However, it can be difficult to get there, helicopter flights are organized all year round, in the winter you can also use the ice crossing, and in the summer - the boat. Regular flights to Moscow and Khabarovsk depart from the airport. Almost all the settlements of Chukotka also carry air traffic.

Separately it is necessary to talk about the flight Moscow-Anadyr. It will take about 8 hours. Flights are sent every day from the airport Vnukovo. Ticket prices are quite high, on average they range from 28,000 rubles to 35,000 rubles. The distance of the route Moscow-Anadyr is also great - about 6187 kilometers. Thus, we got to know Anadyr Airport and air transportation from it to other cities.

Economy of the city

Of course, you need to tell a little about what enterprises exist in this village. On the territory of Anadyr operates a large factory for the production of fish. In addition, near the city are developing gold and coal deposits. There is also a CHP plant here.
