Alternative heating: available options

Modern heating technologies offer a lot of options for apartments and houses. They are able to work from different sources. In this regard, we can say that to arrange alternative heating at the moment does not represent any complexity. Difficulties can be with the selection of a really effective system that can economically expend resources, giving maximum comfort.

Traditional heating does not promote uniform heating, leading to the fact that all heat accumulates under the ceiling. And in the fight against condensation and excessive moisture, ordinary radiators are powerless. That is why alternative sources of heating are very relevant for owners of both apartments and houses. There are a number of types of similar devices: infrared and electric warm floors, as well as infrared heaters. We note the advantages and disadvantages of each of them. When choosing electric warm floors, you should be prepared for the fact that you will need significant financial investments. When installing them, you will need to open the existing cover, and after installation you need to be ready to pay very significant heating bills.

You can use alternative heating, such as infrared film or infrared heater. The first is usually placed under the upper layer of the floor covering, which is much cheaper than electric heating.

IR heater can be placed in any place of home, which will be convenient for users.

It is worth saying that modern systems built on the principle of using infrared rays are very effective, but they consume a very large amount of electricity. Alternative heating in a private house can be provided by boilers. Modern equipment of this type can be liquid fuel, electric, solid fuel, gas or combined.

In the event that the house is gasified, it is best to give preference to gas boilers that can provide not only the proper level of productivity, but also savings. The fuel-oil variant is a good alternative, it consumes fuel oil, diesel fuel, diesel, and solid fuel works on wood or coal. The use of such options requires the owner to have a constant availability of fuel. Alternative heating, built on the basis of an electric boiler, is very efficient and environmentally friendly, however, as a shortcoming, there are significant amounts of electricity consumption. Such equipment is quite powerful, but it must be connected to a three-phase network, which can be problematic.

Heating an apartment building using a combined boiler is the most acceptable option, since such equipment is able to use electricity, gas and fuel. But he also has a drawback - it is necessary to allocate a special room for the boiler room, which will meet the safety requirements.

As you can see, at the moment there are a lot of options for providing heating of the dwelling in alternative ways.
