Allowance for a child. Documents and features

Lump-sum child allowance in the current 2013 increased to 1,307 rubles. It is planned that this amount will be increased starting from January 2014. In any case, the relevant articles are planned in the draft state budget 2014.

The child benefit is issued to all mothers, regardless of their financial situation and length of service. There are no restrictions in this respect by the current legislation. To do this, you must apply with the appropriate application at the place of study and work. To refuse such an appeal, officials have no right - this kind of social payments is mandatory throughout the country. True, the procedure can be slightly adjusted locally, depending on regional conditions.

Russian legislation emphasizes that a child's allowance is issued to the father in the event that the mother can not receive it (as a result of death, serious injury, etc.). It is only necessary to collect all documents and information. In addition, for unemployed parents, a variant is envisaged when they apply to the regional office of the Social Security Administration or the Social Insurance Fund.

In order to receive child support, it is necessary to provide such documents: the birth certificate of the baby, for the father - a certificate from the place of the current work that he has not yet received money for his son or daughter, for single mothers - information about the father of the baby and A certificate from the registry office that such data was entered into a single register, and finally an application for the receipt of the desired social benefits.

For non-working parents, the legal procedure is somewhat different. To receive child support, in addition to the birth certificate and the certificate from the district registry office, you need to submit labor books, which indicates which company the mother and father were fired from, for which article and reason. This is done in order to understand whether they intend to look for labor earnings in the future or are going to live solely at the expense of social payments. However, given that they will be produced in any case, such bureaucratic scrupulousness seems unnecessary.

With regard to the timing of filing, they are registered for six months from the birth of the child. After all the registration procedures have passed, the actual payment begins 10 days after the registration.

The child benefit is calculated as follows. If your child is not yet one and a half years old: an annual salary (without vacation and sick leave) is divided by the number of working days. The result is average daily earnings. From this amount, calculate 40% and multiply by 30.4. This will be a monthly payment.

The allowance for the care of the second child is much larger and approaches 100% of the average salary. We emphasize that the indexation of benefits is not provided by law, and it is paid in accordance with the regulations prescribed in the State Budget. In addition, this payment can also be made by your employer. The amount of up to 50 thousand rubles is not taxed.
