Alexey Oleynik: biography and career

For many people, fond of all sorts of martial arts, Alexei Oleinik is a real idol. A great fighter, he spent a lot of spectacular battles and won a huge number of titles for his sports career. After going through a difficult journey, Alexei Oleinik, whose photo we can see here, gained the glory of a worthy opponent. For the peculiar style of fighting and for the frequent use of a stifling reception, the fans gave him the appropriate nickname - Boa.

Physical data

Alexey Oleinik has excellent physical data, ideally suited to the sport in which he showed himself. With an increase of 188 centimeters, the fighter weighs one hundred and five kilograms. This body structure allows him to go out to fight with equal rivals, not being afraid of defeat: he is strong and firmly stands on his feet. With a hand swing of almost two meters (183 centimeters), he easily uses his favorite technique to strangle the enemy, and it was this method that brought him most of the victories.

Alexey Oleynik: biography

Lesha was born in the beautiful Ukrainian city of Kharkov on June 25, 1977. Being Gemini on a horoscope, it completely corresponded to the basic characteristics of this sign. Charming and purposeful, he began to be fond of martial arts from childhood. His parents did not interfere with his passion, and this eventually led him to professional sports. The athlete has two citizenships: Ukrainian and Russian. In the world his name is most often associated with Russia.

The first professional fight Alexei spent in 1996 and since then only added new achievements to the list of his achievements. At the moment he, together with other professionals in the sport, opened the MMA School of Alexei Oleinik, in which you can learn different martial arts under the leadership of famous fighters:

The technique of combat

Alexei Oleinik is a very capable and comprehensively developed fighter. He owns so many different techniques that sometimes this is more likely to prevent him from conducting a battle than helping. A huge number of tactics, which Alexei can adhere to, confuse him, and he can miss an important critical moment. That's how he earned his defeats. And there were nine of them. Four of them were knockouts. Experts consider Alexey's weak side to be so-called shocklessness. Of the total number of battles won, and they have fifty, he won only four fights by knockout.

Achievements

Alexey Oleinik achieved a lot in the sport. At the moment he is:

• Champion of the Russian Federation version PRMMAF;

It was in amateur sports that he became a two-time champion of Russia, a champion of Europe and Asia, and also a world champion. Four years ago, participating in the competitions that took place in the Russian capital, Moscow, Alexei won the contest among participants who weigh more than 90 kilograms.

Professional Development

Analyzing all the battles Oleynik, we can conclude that his opponents were mostly his compatriots. Alexei started with sparring with little-known fighters. His second fight, he lost, among other things, because of the reception of strangulation. This technique later became his favorite. Then there was a series of victories, among which was the victory over the American fighter Marcel Alfay. After this victory Alexey was invited to participate in the tournament "Em One". But, having spent several fights, he lost to the Brazilian named Flavio Mour and again returned to the battles with his compatriots and fighters from the countries of the former CIS.

Fracture in career

The moment of truth was for Alexei to fight with Jeff Monson. Although he ended in defeat for Oleynik, but the result was controversial. Many observers are convinced that it was in this fight that Oleinik first showed that he is capable of fighting real professionals of the ring. This sparrow was followed by the following, and all of them ended in victories. Among those who defeated Oleinik, was the famous Croatian fighter Mirko Filipovich. Here I want to say that Alexei had a fight with Mirko, having fractures of two ribs: the sixth and the eighth. He broke them in a fight that he had held shortly before with Alistair Overeem. Specialists insisted on the abolition of the bout, as broken ribs are in close proximity to the heart. But Oleynik was so important victory over the famous fighter that he refused to cancel the fight and decided to fight.

And the biggest achievement in this chain of victories is a rematch with Jeff Monson. This time Alex won, using his famous asphyxiating reception. Also worth noting is another significant victory of Oleynik in a battle with a serious rival named Anthony Hamilton. All this suggests that the level of skills and physical shape of Alexei are in excellent condition. The sports world will more than once see the victory of such an athlete as Alexei Oleinik. "UFS" is waiting for a new hero, because since the days of Taktarov there was not a single worthy representative from the Russian Federation.

Career in "UFС"

In 2010 Alexey was invited to participate in the Grand Prix "Bileytor Fighting Championship". Having won in the ¼ finals of Mike Hayes from the USA, he lost in the semi-final to a fighter from Africa named Neil Grove. It was a knockout, albeit technical, but in the first round.

As already mentioned, after Oleinik defeated the Croat, he signed a profitable contract with the MMA. After the battle with Anthony Hamilton, Alexei conducted another fight in November 2014 with a very strong opponent, Jared Rosholt. The fight was very difficult, but fast. In the first round in the fourth minute Oleinik knocked out an opponent and won. I would like to note that at that time Oleinik was actually a citizen of Ukraine. But on the weighing procedure, which took place before the fight, Alexei went in a T-shirt, which was an image of President Vladimir Putin. Soon after the battle, in December, Oleinik received Russian citizenship, which was very gratifying.

The Case of Life

Currently, the athlete is actively involved in the development of sports in the Russian Federation. Together with Jeff Monson, who, just like Oleinik, has recently received Russian citizenship, they hold various events for children and teenagers. Their goal is to attract as many young people as possible to the sport, encourage them to a healthy lifestyle and find themselves in one of many martial arts.
