There are not so many songwriters in our country, but few people know them anyway. We love songs and performers, but we do not even pay attention to who is the author of the poems.

early years

Poet Alexander Shaganov was born in Moscow in 1965, in an ordinary family. Among Sasha's close and distant relatives there were no people of a creative profession. After graduation, he entered the Electrotechnical Institute of Communications and graduated in 1987. He dreamed of entering the literary institute of Gorky, but it was almost impossible. And the institute of communication was near the house, and there was a military department. Then he worked for some time in his profession - an electrical engineer and a recording operator.

Back in school, in the third class , Alexander began to write poetry. At the age of 14, he already knew exactly what he wanted - writing songs to sing them. And his poems sounded - only in school ensembles.

How it all began

After graduation, Alexander Shaganov did not leave his dream of becoming a songwriter. He began to go to various concerts, got acquainted with famous performers and offered them his poems. But, as a rule, they already had authors, and no one was interested in a young, unknown poet.

Alexander was lucky - he was given the phone number of Dmitry Varshavsky, who was the founder of a very young group, "Black Coffee". Directly on the phone, Shaganov read to him his poems "Vladimir Rus," which the interlocutor liked very much. The song became in a matter of days a hit number one.

Shaganov and the group "Lube"

After this success Alexander Shaganov got some fame. In the years of perestroika, when many musical groups were falling apart, he met Igor Matvienko. He just started working with Nikolai Rastorguev and created him a group. I needed a good text writer. They became Alexander Shaganov. He still works fruitfully with the group "Lube" and wrote about 100 songs for her. They are all immensely loved by the people - "Atas!", "Combat", "Come for ...", "There, behind the fogs".

In addition to Lube, Alexander wrote poems for many other musicians. Especially warm his cooperation was with Yevgeny Belousov and Dmitry Malikov. The debut song of young singer Malikov "Until tomorrow" brought him a stunning success. For Zhenya was written "Girl-girl," which became his business card.

When Igor Matvienko started his new project "Ivanushki International", Alexander Shaganov wrote one of the songs of the band - "Clouds".

Now he is rightly called the best songwriter of the country and actively works with new singers - Katya Lel, Danko, Anita Tsoy. His long-standing cooperation with Dima Malikov continues. One of Shaganov's songs was even performed by Alla Borisovna Pugacheva, along with Sergei Chelobanov.

How are poems created?

The poet spends a lot of time at the dacha. He and his wife bought it after the birth of their daughter. Shaganov says that best of all he manages to write poetry in silence and tranquility. He can walk all day and bear the idea of a song in his head, think it through. And closer to the night, when everyone is asleep, he writes poetry. At the dacha where it's always quiet, and most of the material for the songs was written.

Shaganov published two collections of his poems and an autobiographical book "I'm a Shaganov in Moscow," in which he spoke frankly about himself. The decision to write it was dictated by the idea that someday such a book - a biography of the poet - will still be written, but many facts will be presented incorrectly. To exclude the possibility of lying about his life, Alexander decided to tell himself about the truth.

Alexander Shaganov: the family of a great poet

Katya's wife and daughter Lisa are the poet's closest and favorite people. Katia is an artist, now her works are represented in the galleries of Moscow. She also made out her husband's autobiography book.

Liza's daughter, in addition to the regular school, also studies in music. Shaganov's daughter dearly loves, and in his book a lot of pages are reserved for her.

Next year the songwriter Alexander Shaganov turns 50 years old. And most of it he devoted to his favorite work.
