What was the engine put here? "Saneng Musso" was manned by both diesel and gasoline units. The basic was a 4-cylinder diesel engine with indirect injection. The gasoline range included two power units. The first with a working volume of 2.3 liters developed power of 140 horsepower. The torque of the unit is 200 Nm. According to the dynamics of acceleration, this motor was superior to the characteristics of turbo diesel engines. So, up to a hundred the car accelerated in 11.8 seconds. The maximum speed is 175 kilometers per hour.

The flagship for the "Saneng Musso" was a 3.2-liter unit with a multi-point injection. This six-cylinder engine developed power of 220 horsepower.
