With his wife Nadia, he met in the design office, where they once worked. She was sweet and spontaneous. And it was impossible not to fall in love with her. However, there was one problem, which Hope, not melting, said after the first date. She, she herself said, had a dowry: heart failure and the inability to have children. She also loved spontaneity. But Olya was different. Her work was flaunted at exhibitions. Teachers in art school prophesied her great future. And Evdokia Savelievna did not like it terribly. This idea about the teacher had parents. It was created, however, mostly from the words of their daughter.

Lucy

At the daughter adored by parents there was a girlfriend. Her name was Lucy. But Ole liked to call her in the French manner. Lucy was an extraordinarily devoted friend. She dragged Olga's talented her numerous folders with drawings, admired her gift and adored her. At the very Lucy fate was not easy. Her mother was seriously ill, and her father, although he had loved another woman for a long time, remained in the family solely because of a sense of duty. Nobody knew about this: no mother, no friends, no neighbors, no mad Evdokia. Quarrel

But suddenly everything changed. In the art school there was a meeting with the famous painter. Lusia dreamed of getting to her. But she stood by the window all evening, as Olga could not bring her to the hall. This event became a discord in the girl's friendship. And then, during the class hour, Olya, wishing to intercede for her friend, although for the former, revealed to all the family mystery of Lucy ... She believed that this would protect her from the attacks of the class teacher, caused by poor academic performance.

Unrequited love

The work, written by Anatoly Aleksin, - "Mad Evdokia" - is a narrative about how loving people are able not to see, not to notice shortcomings. Mad Evdokia once quoted a Russian poet about this: "Face to face - no faces to see," hinting that parents do not know their daughter well. My father disagreed. The class teacher liked to set children as an example of her best students. The most unusual of them was Mitya Kalyagin. He did not make a career, he was not a great artist or musician. He was just a man who, during the war, performed a feat. Mitya took the doctor the tools that were needed to save the Russian soldiers.

The purpose of the event, which did not return to Olga, is to find the same route that Mitya made his way to the doctor's house during the war and saved the life of the Red Army soldiers. It had to be the shortest way.

Multifaceted and complex images depicted Alexin. "Mad Evdokia", the analysis of which involves the juxtaposition of such human qualities as humanity and talent, is the story of how much the opinion of a person can be deceiving and how much the parent's love is obscure.

Decoupling

Olya was not lost. She only wanted to overcome the path faster than anyone else. The girl used to be in all the best. But she did not have the ability to think about others, not even her parents. Yevdokia Savelyevna phoned all the hospitals and appealed to the police. At the moment when Olga was returning from a successful campaign, the phone rang. Nadia picked up the phone and heard the words: "Come, you need to identify."

Oli's mother had a heart disease, but it survived. The soul could not stand it. After a terrible call, I had to call a psychiatrist.

The narrator remembers all this when all participants in these events return from the psychiatric hospital, from which, perhaps, Nadya will not return. And yet, in conversation with the mad Evdokia, who was not so crazy, he learns a lot that allows him to look at his daughter with other eyes. About how Olya betrayed her friend, that she had not seen anything and no one around her. And that her teacher was never against talent. She only wanted to be attached to humanity.

Yevdokia Savel'na blamed herself for everything that happened, and promised that she would support Olya, because the feeling of guilt could be unbearable for her. Father did not blame anyone. He tried to remember when and at what point in the education of his daughter, they were wrong with Nadia.
