Idleness is the mother of all vices. What is bad idleness?

So it has been a long time since people praise work and disgrace idleness. They say: "Idleness is the mother of all vices!" Why is it so, and what is bad about doing nothing?

Labor frees, and idleness enslaves

For the most part, a working person believes quite the opposite, but this is not so. Those who earn a living, have no time to waste, although sometimes you really want to indulge in laziness and lie in a hammock for days on end, but this is only because there is hard work, and if there was no labor? What would happen in this case? Probably, then people would know from their own experience why idleness is the mother of all vices. I do not want to say anything against psychological and psychoanalytic practice, but experts in this field make good money exclusively on the wives of wealthy people who have nowhere to put themselves. They do not know what to do with their time, which they have a gulf.

Idleness. Collider. G.V. Hegel.

There is one myth that thinking is good. Thinking people are all respected. Yes, all this is true. But there is subtlety. A person who thinks about how to perfect a hadron collider or overtake Georg Wilhelm Hegel is one thing. Such a person reads a lot, thinks, and even if he does not go to work from 9 to 17, his idler can not be called, his vices are not terrible. And imagine a woman who has not taken a book in her hands for 10 years, watching endless talk shows and thinking about whether her husband loves or not? And thoughts like this revolve in her head all day? So you can go crazy, right?

That's why psychologists and psychoanalysts are needed. They collect a certain tax from the phenomenon behind which the expression "idleness is the mother of all vices" stands. And now let's imagine that a hypothetical housewife does not think about whether she likes or not, but simply leads the house in perfect order, prepares delicious dishes for her husband and children. And in the worst she still goes to work. There will be no unnecessary thoughts in her head. "Idleness is the mother of all vices" - this is not about her. She is no longer an idle person.

Burners life gives birth to idleness and boredom

People's rumor, as always, the rights in general and not right in particular. There is such a term: "golden youth" is the children of rich people who take everything from life. By "all" are meant the pleasures forbidden and permitted. And the attitude towards this group is biased in people. Most believe that "golden youth" as a class is only able to squander their lives, giving nothing in return to parents or the world, but that, fortunately, does not apply to everyone. There are some children of wealthy parents who understand that in their life they fell a jackpot, and they can not use sin. In other words, not always the saying "Idleness - the mother of all vices" works, she has misfires. Much depends on the education of parents and the moral content and content of the child.

This turned out to be a small work on the proverb "Idle mother of all vices."
