Actors: "Physics or Chemistry" - remake in Russian

Our Fatherland is very fond of retaking successful full-length films and popular overseas series. This incident also touched the Spanish TV series "Physics or Chemistry". Russia, the actors and directors of which are already accustomed to such events, slightly modified the series, adjusting it to the domestic audience. Every teenager, who gave away a whole ten years of his life to the school, knows the dramas shown in this project. Of course, this does not add to the series of artistic value, but the actors of the film "Physics or Chemistry" are very much trying to portray believable emotions, and the writers are simply climbing out of the skin to surprise the viewer once again with an "unexpected" plot twist. However, despite all the efforts, the series has not caught on, gathering a huge number of negative reviews and simply disparaging comments. Most kinomanov prefer the original, but do not want to know about the Russian version. But is the Russian analogue of the Spanish TV series so bad?

Russian TV series as they are

The answer is yes, the show is really bad, and its actors are especially bad. "Physics or chemistry" in the Russian version generally differs little from positive, and the actor's work there at all on the lowest level. On the one hand, they try to play, experience and loudly read dramatic monologues to the camera, but all their attempts to play well make Stanislavsky toss in the coffin. Actors of the series "Physics or Chemistry" are not familiar to the ordinary spectator, because for many this work was a debut. It is noteworthy that the series was broadcast by the STS channel, known for its tender love for such "solutions" to the daring Russian cinema. However, the ratings of the project could not be raised by anything: neither the cute faces of the main characters, nor the original hairstyles of the secondary. It's also amazing how great the staff were able to "shape" these actors. "Physics or Chemistry" includes the casting of about a hundred people unknown to a wide screen, for whom this series was the first and last opportunity to light up.

A lot of work and little glory

Among cinephiles with a delicate taste, it's common to joke about the low quality of Russian serials, but few people take into account that actors are actually to blame for everything. "Physics or Chemistry" disappoints every facial wrinkle of the character, every false note in the voice, every improbable turn of the head. One of the leading roles performed by Lyubov Germanova, in whose arsenal as many as 465 works. However, we all know that quality is more important than quantity, that's why the actress's performance is more shocking, and even in the level of her acting game, nothing will prevent us from doubting. Even on the contrary: can you professionally win back in 465 projects, if your name is not heard by anybody? This makes us think that all these projects are nothing more than someone's art house or amateur videos for underground festivals of local cinema from Vaska from the third entrance. Of course, most of the works of Lubov Hermanova are the voice of the characters, but there is a difference between the voice acting and the game on the big screen, and it is quite noticeable.

Beauty is - do you need games?

Victoria Poltorak, who flashes the most in the official trailer, makes you think that the actors are not that bad. "Physics or Chemistry" (Spain) did not stake on the appearance of the characters, and, perhaps, here the Spaniards and lost. Cute Victoria Poltorak had every chance to pull the project, but she alone would not be able to do it alone. Poltorak's filmography includes 33 films, of which the series "The Lonely Wolf", the film "White Canvas" and the humorous franchise "Hairpins" are more or less known. Appearance and manner of playing in Viktoria Poltorak is very serial, so Irina's role was not so bad. However, the series are just different in that it is not necessary to play there and it is not necessary. Most of the work from the filmography of the actress - this is just the series, that seems to hint at her real place in life. It is noteworthy that the actress graduated from the acting department, so she has a voice and a good diction. But the series with such a sagging plot and completely incomprehensible connections between the characters just did not let it properly unfold. Perhaps, it is worth looking at some of her other works.

Sergei Godin for serials is good

As for the male half of the cast, then their faces are not inferior to the most popular youth stars of American cinema. For example, Sergei Godin, who played a fashionable guy with the original Slavic name Rick, worked so far only in 16 projects, but managed to score the fan base precisely because of his radiant smile. Who needs acting when there are beautiful green eyes and a tuft? It can not be said that Godin does not try, quite the contrary. He overdid it, and his main problem lies precisely in this. Critics are still arguing about what's worse, not finish playing or replaying, and the consensus has not come. Godin - exactly the same hundred percent serial actor as Viktoria Poltorak, so his person looks in "Physics or Chemistry" very much to the point. The only question is, is this actor really able to show off anything other than a pretty face?

The way from the series to the full-length movie

Gela Meskhi and Alexander Luchinin also lit up in the Russian analogue of the Spanish TV series "Physics or Chemistry", and their work slightly surpassed the quality of the efforts of their comrades on the set. Perhaps it's about the specifics of the characters themselves, or it's just that someone should be an actor, and someone - an engineer-technologist. In any case, Alexander Luchinin "lit up" also in the recent Russian film apocalypse "Metro", and such a role - this is a real breakthrough for the permanent resident of serials.

Lamentable realities

Perhaps some of the performers of the secondary roles of the series "Physics or Chemistry" will soon notice directors with large bellies and thick wallets, but today the trend is rather deplorable. It is still unknown whether it's good or bad when mediocre actors decorate the series, and talented ones sign contracts with Hollywood.
