Actor Igor Ilyinsky: biography, creativity

Igor Ilyinsky - one of the most prominent theatrical actors of the first half of the 20th century. In the movie, Igor Vladimirovich appeared rarely, but, as they say, accurately: his face will forever be remembered by the audience for the role of comrade Ogurtsov in the "Carnival Night" and Field Marshal Kutuzov in the "Hussar Ballad." And how did the career of a famous artist begin and in which films did it appear?

early years

Igor Ilyinsky was born in 1901. His father was a simple Moscow doctor in the afternoon, and in the evening shone on amateur theatrical stages. Little Igor liked to visit his father's performances, but one day when Vladimir Kapitonovich was beaten by his colleague on the stage, as the script demanded, Igor screamed to the whole audience: "Do not you dare beat my dad!" Igor Ilyinsky was no longer taken to the performances.

However, the future actor solved the problem of his leisure very creatively: he independently composed a comic play, rehearsed his role, hung out posters all over the house and made homemade tickets for the performance. On his first "salary" the boy dreamed of buying a horse and go in for private transportation. But his dreams did not come true. Soon the horses were replaced everywhere by cars, and Igor had a new passion - the theater.

Carier start

Igor Ilyinsky, whose biography is inextricably linked with the theater, at age 14 received a strict prohibition from his father to receive an acting profession. According to Vladimir Kapitonovich, his son did not have the acting talent. But when Igor turned 16 years old, his father came to the hospital with a heart attack. The young man was left to himself, so he went to act in the acting school of Komissarzhevsky, and who would have thought it was accepted!

The comedic gift of Ilinsky was considered by the director Vsevolod Meyerhold. In 1920, he invited the actor to serve in his theater and literally created from him a comedic star. Once Igor Ilyinsky coped so well with his role in the play "The Magnanimous Cuckold" that the audience burst onto the stage and began to pump the actor on their hands.

In 1924, Ilinsky began his career in cinema. His first film is "Aelita" by Yakov Protazanov. In it, Igor Vladimirovich played the role of detective-amateur Kravtsov.

"Volga, Volga"

Igor Ilyinsky in 1938 played in the well-known comedy of Gregory Alexandrov "Volga, Volga". Subsequently, this picture was the favorite film of Stalin himself.

In the center of the plot of the film is an amateur actor's troupe floating along the Volga on a steamer to Moscow to take part in the amateur contest. The main roles in the comedy were performed by Lyubov Orlova ("Cheerful Guys") and, in fact, Igor Ilyinsky, who got the role of an official of Ivan Ivanovich Bivalov.

The hero of Ilinsky is a bureaucrat and an avid careerist. No wonder he bears the name of Byvalov: he is self-assured, believes that he knows everything and understands everything, so he does not want to listen to anyone. This is the comic character of this character - with a clever face, Byvalov does great nonsense. In addition, the importance and bombast of any official can not help but amuse ordinary people.

The value of the film is not only in a talented cast, but also in a good musical accompaniment: the songs from the film were once broadcast on the All-Union radio.

"Crazy day"

Igor Ilyinsky, whose filmography consisted entirely of comedies, in 1956 played a major role in Andrey Tutyshkin's film "Mad Day".

The character of Ilinsky - Comrade Zaitsev - is the keeper of the children's creches. At any price, it is necessary to paint the furniture in white, but there is no paint. In order to get a deficit, Zaitsev needs to get into the rest house and talk with one person there, but the trouble is: no outsiders are allowed into the territory. The whole comedy of the picture is that the character of Ilyinsky pretends to be another person - a certain husband of the sportswoman Ignatyuk, but soon the real husband of Klava Ignatyuk really stays in the indicated rest house.

Together with Igor Ilyinsky, Anastasia Georgievskaya (The Great Change), Serafima Birman (Don Quixote) and Vladimir Volodin (Kuban Cossacks) also played in the film. The director of the film Andrey Tutyshkin also made a film "Free Wind" and "Wedding in Malinovka".

"Carnival Night"

Acting Ilyinsky's work was highly valued in the Soviet Union: the actor was considered one of the highest paid and was a laureate of multiple awards and awards. But the real celebrity of Ilinsky made the role of Ogurtsov in the famous comedy of Eldar Ryazanov "Carnival Night".

According to the plot of the film, the creative team of the House of Culture faces the task of hosting the New Year's event as worthy and merrier as possible. And Lenochka Krylov, performed by Lyudmila Gurchenko, tries with all her might. But on the eve of the holiday in the House of Culture appoint a new chief - Serafim Ivanovich Ogurtsov - who cuts all the beginnings of Krylova on the run: he is trying to replace the old art numbers with new ones, "serious", gray and boring. Comedy begins when the collective of the House of Culture decides to take a desperate step to hold a holiday without the direct participation of Comrade Ogurtsov, leaving the program banned numbers.

The Hussar Ballad

Igor Ilyinsky, whose roles are mostly comedic, made an exception only once, playing a serious historical personality in another film by Eldar Ryazanov - "The Hussar Ballad."

The film takes place in 1812, during the Russo-French war. Maid Shurochka dressed in a male hussar costume and sent to fight in the hussar regiment. No one even suspects that the famous cornet Shurik is actually a girl. However, when the famous field-marshal Kutuzov comes to the bid in the performance of Igor Ilyinsky, he immediately understands what's what. But after a long conversation Kutuzov still allows Shura to remain in the army.

I must say that Eldar Ryazanov long and zealously defended the candidacy of Ilinsky for this role: the artistic council was sure that the comedian would turn the image of the famous military leader into an absurd farce. But that did not happen. It turned out that Il'insky equally well manage both serious and funny roles.

"These different, different, different faces": Igor Ilyinsky and his versatility

Soon the actor managed to surprise his viewer even more. After the release in 1971 of the telefilm "These Different, Different, Different Faces," everyone learned that Igor Ilyinsky is an actor who can play absolutely all the roles in any film independently.

The comedy consists of seven short stories, the scripts to which are written on the basis of Chekhov's stories. The uniqueness of the picture is that absolutely all the characters in it, Ilinsky played independently: ladies, men, bureaucrats, police chiefs - absolutely everyone.

In addition, Ilinsky also directed the film on a par with Yuri Saakov.

Igor Ilyinsky: biography, personal life

Igor Vladimirovich never differed in external attractiveness. In addition, in life he was very shy, so the first love came to him late - at 23 years old. The actor fell in love with his colleague in the theater Meyerhold - Tatiana. The girl answered him in kind, and they got married.

Soon, due to a major quarrel with the director, Ilyinsky and his wife were kicked out of Meyerhold's theater. But Igor Ilyinsky, whose films watched the whole Soviet Union, soon returned to his former place, and his wife Tatiana was not accepted back. She was a simple housewife for a long time, and in 1945 she died under unclear circumstances.

Ilyinsky after a while married for the second time - on the actress Tatyana Eremeeva-Bitrich, who gave birth to his son. The actor himself died in 1987 at the age of 85 years.
