Yarrow - application during pregnancy

Many women, being in a state of pregnancy, without hesitation, begin to take medicinal plants, considering them completely harmless to the body. Having read unreliable information on the pages of the global network - the Internet, having heard from acquaintances about medicinal properties, tincture of yarrow, sage and many other plants becomes the only panacea for pregnant women. I would like to warn you immediately, the use of this or that drug, even if it is based on a "harmless", in your opinion, herb, must be prescribed by a gynecologist who observes you.

Yarrow: application during pregnancy

A few decades ago, girls in an interesting situation, used tincture of yarrow, as a means to terminate pregnancy. With the passage of time, this statement was completely refuted, but this does not make this plant completely harmless. Yarrow, the use of which occurs during pregnancy, promotes the increase of estrogens - hormones produced in the follicular apparatus located in the ovaries. To what it can lead, you ask? To the most sad consequences: either to the delivery in the early stages, when the fetus is not yet fully formed, and, therefore, is not viable, or to the pathologies of the child. If you are not an enemy of your own health and your future child, consult your doctor before applying any of the medications.

Therapeutic properties of the yarrow

This herb from time immemorial has been in great demand in folk medicine. The medicinal properties are as a yarrow ordinary, and noble. Yarrow is endowed with diaphoretic, astringent and diuretic properties, and also contributes to the normalization of metabolism in the human body. It contributes to yarrow healing of wounds, accelerates the process of blood clotting, improves circulation in the human body of blood. People suffering from liver and kidney disease, treating doctors prescribe decoctions and tinctures from this herbaceous plant. The yarrow helps to relieve spasms in the intestines, relieves pain in the stomach (conducted studies have shown that acute pain occurs within 10-15 minutes), and, of course, helps in the fight against gastrointestinal diseases.
