"White Mountain" in Kamenka: rest with the breadth of the Russian soul

In the Penza region, the recreation center "White Mountain" (Kamenka) is comfortably located on a clean pond surrounded by fabulous Russian landscapes. Previously, the camp site was a place of recreation of local importance, but in recent years many tourists from Moscow and even Murmansk have been vacationers. There are no big mountains here, of course. It is proposed mainly beach and active holidays, aimed at families with children.

The name of the base was given by the name of the lake "White Mountain", near which it is located.

Over the past few years, this place has become popular for corporate events, anniversaries, wedding celebrations. The administration of the base is happy to help in organizing any festive events. For example, in the summer, very beautiful wedding ceremonies with a snow-white altar, carved benches for visitors to the left and right of the aisle, rose petals are arranged on the beach.

Outside it is a trailer, and inside - a cozy room with beds, electric stove and mini fridge, toilet, lockers.

The main variant of the tourists' stay is the guest houses made of wood with verandahs, where everything is very comfortable and there is everything necessary for a good rest: beds, small kitchens, televisions, bathrooms, shower and even Russian stoves. You can also choose a bigger house - hunting or new. More spacious cottages are designed for 10-12 people and are equipped with comfortable beds, cooking areas, seating areas with soft furnishings and TVs, toilets and showers.

The whole infrastructure is carefully thought out so that tourists are satisfied with the rest and come back here again. Each building is created in the traditional Russian rustic style. Tracks and passages on the basis of the "White Mountain" in Kamenka are tiled. Around there are numerous flowerpots with flowering plants.

In front of the beach is equipped with a walking zone. The entire territory is kept clean and equipped with changing rooms, sun loungers, umbrellas, a bridge for diving. Water sports are available for a small extra charge.

In the clear waters of the pond and lake there are white cupids, red eyes, crucian carp, carp and carp.

Children are delighted with a small zoo where camels, horses and ponies, roe deer, rabbits, guinea fowls live. All animals have a well-groomed appearance, it is noticeable that here they are loved and cherished.

For younger guests of the base you can rent rollers, bicycles and scooters, badminton.

In winter, trips are offered on snowmobiles, a Russian bathhouse, alternating with rubbing snow. You can take it at the box office or bring your skis, sleds, cheesecakes and ice-cold coals to ride on the roller coaster with a breeze. At the camp "White Mountain" in Kamenka conditions are created for skating and playing hockey.

How to get to the base

The hostel is located on the 59th km of the Penza-Tambov highway. How to get to the "White Mountain" (Kamenka) on your own or public transport? On a personal car from the Tambov highway, turn left at the sign and go 1 km to the next sign, there make the last turn to the left and cross another 1 km along a good asphalt road straight to the base.

By public transport the route is possible with a transfer. Regular buses and fixed-route taxis regularly go from Penza to Kamenka. The cost of the ticket is approximately 160-200 rubles. In Kamenka, you need to transfer to the second bus (or taxi), which will take about 20 minutes to the base in the village of Zalesny.
