In addition to the temples and triumphal arches, you need to visit the Pantheon and the grave of Raphael, as well as the basilica of Constantine and Maxentius not far from the forum. Not to visit the thermae of Caracalla, as well as the palaces of the emperors of Tiberian, Flavius and Augustine - an inexcusable omission.

The second day can be dedicated to Christianity in Rome. Again, we begin the study in chronology: from the catacombs, where the first martyrs of faith sheltered from persecution, to the Vatican Hill, in which the modern "governor of St. Peter" reigns. End the day you can, admiring the sunset from the dome of the famous cathedral of St. Peter. What to see in Rome Christian?
