What is the thesis and how to use it correctly?

What is the thesis? This word is of Greek origin. In translation into Russian, "thesis" means thought, scientific position. So, theses are very clearly and concisely formulated the main provisions of scientific work, reports, reports, articles. The significance of such provisions is that all large and sometimes bulky material is given in the form of short, consistent formulations. In fact, abstracts are a small and sufficiently ample scientific article, which is the basis for a report, lecture or report. Usually they are published in special collections for conferences. A small amount is what the theses differ from other types of scientific works.

Having understood what such a thesis is, it is worthwhile to take up the writing of the main provisions. Do this consistently, given a number of useful recommendations.

First, it is necessary to decide whether these theses will be ready for the work already done, or for work that has just been conceived. If there is no work yet, then the thesis of its essence is to be presented. That is, it is necessary to clearly formulate the main points related to the scientific problem and the proposed methods for its solution.

Secondly, it is necessary to analyze the work, to understand its structure. If it is yet to be written, then it is necessary to think it over well, to present and write down the title of the proposed chapters. The theses, the tasks, the urgency of the work, and the scientific hypothesis put forward must necessarily be written. It is necessary to briefly formulate the main problem, to indicate the object and subject of scientific development. It is necessary to list the methods and methods used, to name their advantages, to tell about the principles to which the work corresponds, about the parameters of the sample.

Thirdly, if the work is done, then the main results of the experiment are necessarily indicated in the theses, and if this is important, then the intermediate results. One of the main points is the general conclusion. It indicates whether the goal of the work was achieved and whether the previously advanced hypothesis was confirmed.

Abstracts are not just a set of phrases. Between positions there must be a logical connection. Those who understand what a thesis is, will not repeat all of their work in written theses, but only reveal its main content.

So, these theses should consist of the following components:

- Work theme;

- surname, name, patronymic of the author, his contact details;

- a short introduction, which indicates the degree of study of the topic and the existing problems, clearly sets the goal of the work, describes its tasks, relevance, object and subject of research, formulates research methods and scientific hypothesis;

- a brief description of the main stages of work;

- conclusions with all conclusions and results;

- list of main sources used (at least two);

- if necessary, the text includes applications with the main graphs, diagrams, drawings.

It remains to carefully re-read the work to make sure that knowing how to write abstracts was useful to you. In theses, as in any other scientific work, there should be no grammatical, stylistic and punctuation mistakes.

The theses usually accompany printed research papers and reports dedicated to them at conferences. Their text should be formatted according to the requirements of the organizers of a conference or other event.

Knowing what a thesis is, one must understand what the theses differ from the speech. Theses are the result of a written speech, they play the role of the basis of oral presentation and are the key to its success.

Use the theses correctly and for the purpose - after all, after reading them, a person makes an opinion on all scientific work, report or lecture.
