What is motivation for sports?

To achieve the intended results or advance through the career ladder, we all need motivation. This applies to any professional activity. True, in sports this is especially noticeable. It is here that a person works on the edge of his possibilities. Motivation in sports is an excellent support for push forward.

Although it is not necessary to believe that the more motivated the athlete is, the higher his results. No, often it's not so simple. Many come to the sport, but not many achieve any results in it. Because they, as a rule, are composed of a large number of components. These include the reasons that forced a person to come into the sport, and the goals that he sets himself.

Why do we come to the sport?

As a motivation for sports, there may be an aspiration to look strong, have an excellent torso or more specific desires: to be able to retreat an "ennoe" number of times or hit the target with the first shot. But what exactly will make a person do this for real without surrendering after the first setbacks? Yes, you are right: an incentive! In addition to internal motives, externalities are also needed. After all, motivation is what is born inside of us, and the stimulus comes from outside.

Only a combination of these two components will lead to the expected result.

If you decide that you have to go in for sports, you just need to build a chain of milestones that will help you not to give up, not to drop your hands. To do this, you need to break your movement into a number of mini-goals, the achievement of which is your motivation for sports.

How to force yourself to move forward

Do not compare yourself with those who have long been engaged in order not to seem to be worthless. Do not look around! Look forward! Let there, in front, is only the image that you mentally drew. This is a deep message that makes you act. And what else could be the motivation for men, how not to be able to play with muscles, show their strength and dexterity to a beautiful lady?

And most importantly, set yourself a very specific task. Do not say: "Today I will do everything possible." This does not help you. Feeling tired, you tell yourself that you can not do anything else, and the movement will stop. And with a specific task, it will be difficult to move away from it without having fulfilled it.

Remember that your goals should be a little more complicated than you can do, but be sure to be real. Do not fly to the clouds - you will only help to strengthen your fears and doubts: "I could not!".

Everyone knows the proverb that the road in a thousand steps begins with the first step. It's about you. You move - and this is the most important thing.

Do not forget to praise yourself for every success, even small - it is the feeling of continuous victories that will create a great incentive, on which your motivation for sports keeps. This will eventually become a necessity and a style of life. Having managed to overcome yourself, you will suddenly understand how fascinating it is: to set a goal, and then go to her, in spite of everything! Your life will be filled with new colors, brighter, more sensible. And it goes, of course, not only about the success of the ladies!

So let your motivation for sport be strengthened with every your new achievement!
