The most common, perhaps, is a tirade of the type: "Well, of course, Montreal! What, no? Well, then maybe Vancouver? Also no? Toronto?"

Neither the one, nor the other, nor the third! In fact, the capital of the state is Ottawa. Montreal is the so-called capital of the French province, Toronto can rightly be considered the main city of the Ukrainian diaspora, and Vancouver is simply a modern, exciting metropolitan area.

A small village grew and developed, gradually becoming a major administrative center.
