If Patrick Jane is the central male character of the television series, then the agent Lisbon is female. She is a bold and responsible woman, it helps her to advance in the service. With the advent of Patrick in her department, everything went somersault. Jane conducts investigations at her discretion, often without notifying Teresa. And although his methods prove to be quite effective, for all his frequent violations of the law, Lisbon must be puffed up as the head of the department. The style of Teresa's work is gradually changing under the influence of Jane. Ironically, it helps her to become a much better cop than before meeting Patrick.

Teresa Lisbon was born in an average Chicago family of six people: a firefighter father, a nurse mother and four children. When the girl was barely twelve, her mother died under the wheels of a drunk driver's car. The head of the Lisbon family had a very hard time surviving the loss of his wife and began to drink often. Eventually, he was so degraded that he stopped caring for children in general. Then Therese, as the only girl in the family, took care of all the housework in the house, as well as about the brothers.

After the brothers grew up, Teresa decided to become a policeman. At first, she worked for the San Francisco Police, but later, thanks to a succession of successful cases, she was invited to the CBD.

As for personal relationships, Patrick Jane and Therese Lisbon most of the series are good friends who respect each other with respect and sincere care. In this tandem, Teresa plays the role of mother or elder sister, caring for restless Patrick. But over time, everything changes.

Prior to the capture of Red John, the creators of the television series kept warm friendly relations between these characters. Each of them had novels. It is noteworthy that Jane's feelings for his passions were deeper, while Therese Lisbon allowed herself only short novels, to the end not opening emotionally. When the storyline of Red John was exhausted, all the attention of the audience was focused on the development of relations between Patrick and Theresa.

To make them think about their feelings, a new character was introduced into the story - agent Pike. Enchanted by Teresa, he invites her on a date, and soon they have a novel, the apogee of which is Pike's offer to become his wife and move to him in Washington. Watching all this, Jane begins to think about what he feels about Teresa. Realizing that he loves her, Patrick has time at the last moment to admit to her in love, and soon they begin to meet.

The development of relations between Teresa and Patrick is devoted to the entire last season of the series. And if for the first six seasons the audience watched Jane and Lisbon as friends and close friends, in the last season, Gisbon, as their fans dubbed, actively passed through all the stages of romantic relationships that ended with the wedding. In addition, it turned out Lisbon was already waiting for the child. So, thanks to Teresa, after the capture of Red John, Patrick was able to get what he lost and did not want to find again - the family.

Robin was born Jessica Tanni, like her heroine, in Chicago. After graduation Robin wished to become an actress and entered the Art Academy of Chicago. But I soon realized that the heart of the American film industry is Hollywood. So she moved to Los Angeles. Soon she was noticed and began to invite not small roles in various projects.

Prior to the participation in the television series "Mentalist" actress (Teresa Lisbon became her most vivid role), Robin Tanni already had a good time in the professional field. She became famous for her participation in the films "Sorcery" with Neve Campbell, "The End of the World" with Schwarzenegger and "Paparazzi". Soon, a well-known young actress was invited to appear in popular television series. So Robin Thani became the first patient of the main character in the cult series "Doctor House".
