Vadim Rabinovich is a Jew with a guarantee

The Ukrainian political elite has always been famous for the fact that in its cage there is a place for some people who can really be called odious. Such people have a certain charisma and are sharp enough in language. One part of the country's population loves them, the other hates them. To date, a vivid example of such a policy in Ukraine is MP Vadim Rabinovich.

Birth and education

The future Ukrainian businessman and politician was born in Kharkov on August 4, 1953. Vadim Rabinovich studied at the Kharkov Road Institute, but was expelled due to immoral behavior. Of course, such an unplanned ending of training could not get away with it. The consequence of the deduction was an appeal to the army, where a guy with Jewish roots spent, as expected, two years.

Beginning of the work path

Having left in a stock, Vadim Rabinovich For five years he worked as a foreman in the repair and construction department. But even here he managed to excel, because he was accused of embezzling money on a particularly large scale. January 20, 1980 Vadim Rabinovich Came under arrest. At the end of nine months, he was released (according to rumors, Roman Prosecutor-General Rudenko, then the then Prosecutor General of the USSR, contributed to this).

Imprisonment

At the end of 1980 Vadim Zinovievich was engaged in making calendars, various crystal dishes, wooden doors. Such a stormy activity did not go unnoticed by law enforcement agencies, and in 1982 a second arrest followed. As later Rabinovich himself admitted, he managed to simulate mental insanity for more than a year. But it still did not bring him any dividends, because in February 1984 the Kharkov court sentenced him in the form of 14 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property, as well as the subsequent prohibition to engage in professional activities for five years. He was released in 1990 (according to other sources - in 1991).

Active business

Literally a few days after the return to freedom Vadim Rabinovich Creates the company "Pinta". At the beginning of 1992, he started exporting metal, and in autumn 1993 he became head of the representative office of the Austrian company "Nordex", which supplied Russian oil to Ukraine in large volumes.

In 1995, together with Boris Fuksman and Alexander Rodnyanskiy became the founder of the TV channel "1 + 1".

In 1996, being already an experienced businessman, he created a company called RICO in Geneva, later renamed RC-Group.

In 2008 I bought the TV channel "News One".

Weapon scandal

Vadim Rabinovich, whose biography is full of both ups and downs, since the mid-1990s earned a reputation as a businessman who was involved in smuggling Soviet weapons into various zones of armed conflicts outside the CIS. In many respects because of this in June 1999, he was banned from entering Ukraine for a period of 5 years. But on September 29 of the same year Rabinovich was summoned to a conversation with the leadership of the SBU, according to which he was nevertheless allowed to stay on the territory of the Ukrainian state.

In January 2002 Der Spiegel, a rather respected German publication, reported the delivery of T-55 and T-62 tanks to Taliban militants. According to the weekly, this transaction was an Israeli businessman (Rabinovich, in addition to Ukrainian, also has Israeli citizenship), which acted with the active support of Pakistan's intelligence.

Social work

Rabinovich Vadim Zinovievich (his biography is a real example of resourcefulness), since 1997 and to this day he heads the All-Ukrainian Jewish Congress. Being in this position, he repeatedly stated publicly that the world Jewish organizations should render assistance not only to Jews, but also to Ukraine as a whole.

In December 1999, the businessman was awarded a prize from the hands of the then Metropolitan Volodymyr in the form of the Order of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.

If, however, to list all the awards of this active figure, then among them are:

- Order of Merit (second and third degree);

- Order of the Foreign Intelligence Service;

- "Cross of Valor";

- "For services to the Armed Forces of Ukraine".

Political ambitions

In 2014 the elections of the President of Ukraine were held, in which Vadim Rabinovich also took part. The biography of this candidate is far from pure, so there could be no victory. In the end, only about 2.5% of voters voted for him. Although this figure was not the worst. For example, Oleg Tyagnibok scored half as much. At the same time, in Odesa, Mykolayiv and Zaporozhye regions, Rabinovich scored 5% of the vote, which is generally quite a lot, realizing the lack of experience of Vadim Zinovievich's participation in such "tournaments".

But this fiasco did not reduce the policy turns, and in the elections to the parliament of 2014 he recruited the required percentage of votes for passage to the Verkhovna Rada and becomes a people's deputy of the eighth convocation.

Election campaign for local councils 2015

Like any previous race for people's voices, the "competitions" between candidates in 2015 were not honest. For example, the fact that Rabinovich Vadim Zinovievich, whose biography attracts public attention, was not invited to a television debate in the studio of the 1 + 1 channel, now owned by the influential oligarch Igor Kolomoisky. As it turned out, the leadership of this media was ready to talk to any representative of the opposition bloc only if it was not Vadim Rabinovich, whose speeches are not to the liking of those in power because of his keen language.
