First let's get acquainted with this interesting character, and then learn how to tame the ocelot in Minecraft. This is a friendly mob that appears in the jungle and looks very much like a cat. Ocelots are very shy and almost always run away if you try to approach them. They can just hunker in the tall grass and watch from there behind the player.

How to tame an ocelot? In fact, it's pretty simple. First you need to craft (create) a fishing pole and catch a few fish in the nearest pond. After this, you must take the fish in your hand and go to the mob. If you have a fish in your hand, he will not run away, but, on the contrary, will come closer. When the ocelot is very close, you need to feed it - right-click in its direction. To tame you need three or four fish. After that, the ocelot will become "home" - in fact, it will turn into a cat. In this case, it changes color - it will turn black, red or Siamese. Domestication works only with raw fish - ocelots, like real cats, love only fresh products.

After domestication, this character will constantly follow you. He has several rather useful features. Some of them will start working only after taming the ocelot, and some - even earlier.

The first feature is scaring creepers. If the keeper sees an ocelot, it immediately starts moving in the opposite direction from it.

The second feature is the "passion" for chicken. If the ocelot sees a chicken, he immediately wants to eat it, while leaving on the ground loot in the form of meat and feathers.

The third feature is the ability of this mob to teleport. However, this teleportation works only if the ocelot is far from the player - then it instantly moves to you behind your back. If you do not know about this feature, then you can not even notice it.

The fourth feature is that ocelots can reproduce! To do this, we again take a fishing rod and catch more fish. Then we tame at least two ocelots and in turn once again feed them. Soon a kitten will appear near them. He can do everything the same as an adult ocelot. After a while, the kitten will grow and become a full-fledged predator.

The fifth feature - ocelots know the command "Sit!". If you click on the tamed character with the right mouse button, it will sit down and will sit until you click it again. But do not abuse: if you plant an ocelot and forget about it, then it can stop listening and not get up.

Ocelots have a few more features, for example:

• If they fall, they will not get damage;
• After feeding, the tamed ocelot cat will purr;
• If you use the egg to call the mob, the kitten will appear, and if you just use the egg on the terrain, then the adult ocelot.
