For stairs, kitchens and vestibules, a more durable material for abrasion or frost resistance (balconies) is required. Slip resistance is the next important characteristic of floor tiles in bathrooms, it is better to lay a tile, the surface of which prevents the objects from sliding along it. The only disadvantage of the tile floor is the good thermal conductivity of the ceramic, so on such a floor it is uncomfortable without shoes - it is cold. But this defect can be eliminated by making the warm floors under the tile.

Ceramic tiles - the ideal material for the construction of floors with heating. The warm electric floor under the tile is done like this: before laying the facing material, a special cable is pushed into the interlayer of cement mortar, intended for electric heating, and on top of it a layer of the same cement mortar is applied, onto which the tiles are laid according to the technology of facing the floor. Electric heating can be replaced by seamless tubes of the water heating system, which are also laid in a layer of cement mortar.
