In the practice of any knitter there inevitably comes a time when you have to learn to knit women's hats. A hook for such products is preferable to spokes, as it provides an opportunity to create a fairly tight and dense headgear.

In fact, you just need to knit the canvas without adding new elements. Often, women's hats (hook) are about 18 cm high. This is the distance from the crown to the lowest point. In this case, you should take into account the width of the harness.

This means that the even part of the cap should be knit until the product is 18 cm minus the width of the strap (3-4 cm).

Plank on the bottom of the cap consists of columns without a crochet. It is designed to keep the canvas of the head from deformation and fix the product on the head, preventing it from falling.

Cap of motifs

Such models of headwear are suitable for relatively warm weather, except for products with a cushioned lining.

The process of making similar caps is as follows:

• The flat bottom is knitted according to any scheme providing for the formation of a circular web. You can use the description of the previous model.
• Square motifs are performed separately. They can be large, as in the photo, or smaller, as in the diagram. If small squares are used, they are arranged in two rows.

• Sew the squares among themselves, then sew them to the bottom.
• Perform the strapping of the caps, combining all the squares.
