The temple of all religions in Kazan - a reality or absurdity?

The temple of all religions is in Kazan ... It would seem that the very existence of such a complex is absurd. But the location of this temple in a distant and not even all known Kazan - even more so. Why not Rome, or, for example, not Moscow? And yet it exists and has already gained considerable fame.

The temple of all religions in Kazan is an unusual and unique construction that has no analogues. Its construction began in the last decade of the last century (1994). The author and at the same time the owner of the complex decided to show to all people that the thoughts of the faith are bright and close in meaning, regardless of their religion. At the entrance to Kazan in front of travelers there is a temple built near the great Volga. The first reaction of tourists is absolutely calm - the usual church, which there are so many in Russia ... But after a few seconds a strange excitement arises: something is wrong ... The look is attracted like a magnet ... And suddenly it dawns: here and the Jewish synagogue, And the Orthodox Church, and the Moslem Mosque ...

The temple of all religions in Kazan is an amazing intertwining of sixteen religious currents of the world. Now he is still in the process of building. But on the territory can easily walk anyone who wants. The basis of the picture gallery, posted here, is the work of contemporary artists. The concert hall of the Temple is opened for visitors, where musical performances of professional musicians take place.

The temple of all religions (Kazan), whose photo is that evidence, is in fact an amazing structure. The idea to unite the domes of different churches in one ensemble came to Ildar Khanov's head during his long travels: there are many religions, but God is one! Construction began on six hundred square meters of its own land. Surprisingly, Ildar was supported by local businessmen and ordinary tourists. Although it is impossible to say that the idea has permanent sponsors, it is impossible - the Temple of all religions in Kazan is built primarily on one-time donations and at the expense of the architect himself, around which, by the way, legends have long been composed. They say that Ildar Khanov, born in 1943, died while still very young. During the war hungry time, the death rate was so high that no one was surprised. Parents did not dare to bury the child immediately. And on the third day, when a shroud began to wear on him, he suddenly came to life. Father exchanged a single pair of his shoes for milk, thanks to which little Ildar managed to get out. Soon the artist woke up in the boy, only the colors were replaced by coal and beets, and instead of the canvas there were newspapers.

Then there were the art school, the Surikov Institute, personal exhibitions, recognition. Most of the paintings written by Khanov are in museums in Russia. But this seemed to him little. Obsessed with a desire to understand the essence of the world and the meaning of life, Khanov travels a lot, studying eastern medicine, yoga, Buddhism. It was then that the Ecumenical Temple began to take on a still vague outline. Soon Ildar decided to return home to realize what he had seen.

The construction is not over yet, although the main ideas have already been implemented. It takes about an hour to visit the sights. You will not see a clergyman in the Temple. There is no service. But if you are attracted by all the unusual and unique, be sure to visit Kazan. The temple of all religions, whose address is not every local one, is quite easy to find. You can get by train or bus (№2 and №5). Both options are convenient. Boarding on the bus is made either at the stop "Children's World" (corner of the public garden), or at the stop "Railway Station". If you decide to get by train, take a ticket to the "Old Arkachino" (the same name is also the bus stop). Well, there you will immediately understand where to go - a bright structure and tall domes are visible from afar.
